Latest you can make changes to a reservation?

I've seen some varying numbers, we are thinking of putting quick service dining plan on our reservation, how close to check in can you still make changes to a package?

At least three days; you will need to pay in full at the time of the change; there've been intermittent reports of a $10 charge to add the Dining Plan to a package relatively close to arrival.
