How difficult is it get a GOG virtual que these days? I will be in Epcot Monday 12/9 and not sure if we should just get LLSP. Definitely don’t need multi pass and don’t mind waiting, but I don’t want to be shut out either. Not sure how likely I am to get either VQ drop. We will be there all day. Just me and DH.

The VQ goes quickly but if you're ready right when they drop you'll have a good chance to get it. We've ridden about 8 times and always got a VQ. The 7AM drop goes within seconds. The 1PM lasts a bit longer normally.

If you REALLY want to ride, the LLSP will guarantee you a ride.

Also, something else to know is that once a VQ is called, you can ride anytime from then until park close.

Thanks! Good to know about riding anytime after called, I think they were very strict about it when we went last time.

Will LLSP still be available day of, if I wait and see if I get 7am drop first? Or do they sell out early as well.

I’m usually up early, but this trip is just me snd DH, first time no kids, and going mainly to relax and staying up later ( doing MVMCP THE 10th) so we may just sleep in.

I've only not gotten one on the 7 am drop once (in 8 tries). We were able to get the 1 pm drop on that 8th try. I've also bought the LLSP twice because I like the ride so much. This last trip (3 park days) I rode it 3 times (once on LLSP and twice using the 7 am VQ).

I'm another who will do both - buy LLSP and try for the VQ (also on Dec 9) because I like the ride so much and only have 1 day in Epcot. My flight leaves at 6:55 AM so probably won't get a 7 AM VQ, have always had luck with the 1 PM drop.

How long is the wait, usually, with the VQ? I know it will vary since people have more flexibility after their group is called... but just curious what an average wait would be in doing this through VQ.

If it leaves the gate at 6:55 you should still have a cell signal by 7 (I would think).

I've waited anywhere from 25 minutes to 45 minutes. If the end of the line is in the main room where all the zip zagging up the ramp is, expect to wait 45 or more.

This was my experience in June. I purchased wifi for my flight just in case, and I had a better signal on my regular data than I did on the flight wifi.

You must be thinking of a different attraction. GotG has not enforced return times since it opened. You cannot arrive before your BG is called but they have always allowed guests to ride until park close once their group is called.

It may still be available but if it is, will go very quickly after 7AM as many will have the same idea you do.

Checking Thrill-Data, some LLSP are still available for tomorrow. Check the LL availability at the link to see current trends.

I’ve waited anywhere between 15-65 mins. Average is about 20-25 mins.

It has varied a lot over several trips. In late Sept I was pleasantly surprised how short the waits were for both types of passes. (This was the day before hurricane Helene hit though) Like almost no one in line in the first big room. Previously it has been about a half hour for LLSP and longer for VQ lines.

My first thing in the morning SW flights usually leave early. We'll see.

Thanks, looks like I should just buy the LLSP. How are they with enforcing the return times on that?

I was watching the GOTG Virtual Queue today. The 1 PM virtual queue appeared to stay open for at least an hour and a half, I was only checking intermittently at work.

On our recent trip I booked LLSP three days out (11.00 am return time) and loved it so much that while Crazy Cat Boy was bemoaning the quality of a pretzel and recovering from slight post ride queasiness, I booked another LLSP for the next day.

Our experience was that three days out gave us morning and afternoon return times and the day prior booking gave us post 1 pm return times, with plenty of variation in time to select.

Mind you I felt the parks were quite empty when we were there (Halloween week) even though most crowd calendars suggested otherwise... not sure if the hurricanes or possible threat of hurricanes impacted peoples planning? We were pleasantly surprised as we'd come prepared for the worst. The only ride we didn't make it on was SSD as standby was the only option for us on that and 75 mins was too long for us at the time.

However, based on our experience, you should be able to pick up LLSP if you don't want to try for a boarding queue.

I flew Allegiant a couple weeks ago and we departed 10 minutes early since everyone was boarded.

The last time my sons rode it, they were in the LL and it took them about 20 minutes from the time they entered until the time they texted they were done.

The last time ds went into the VQ line, it was 45 minutes. He said he was one of the last getting out of the preshow.

I assume if I buy a LLSP, there is no flexibility on the time window the way there is with VQ? And is there a holiday overlay this year?

Still haven’t purchased Epcot tickets. Can’t believe a week away!

We will be staying at Boardwalk the nights of 12/30 and 12/31 and going to Epcot on 12/31.

I believe this means we can buy LLSP for Guardians Monday 12/23 (1 week prior to Monday 12/30 check in). It appears from this thread, that generally speaking LLSP is available at the 7-8 day window without much problem.

I also think I’m interpreting that return Windows are enforced for LL. Are they also being enforced for VQ?

I bought LLSP for today on Friday morning, earliest time I could get was 3:35. Managed to snag a VQ at 7 AM before my plane took off, boarding group 99. I checked in with the LLSP and there was no line for either LL or VQ in the first room, walked right into the preshow, but there was a line immediately out of the last preshow room, which has never happened to me before. Took about a half hour total to ride, and my BG had been called while I was in line so I got right back in line. This time, there was a visible line at first but it moved quickly after the preshow, so roughly the same amount of time overall.
