I probably ought to preface this with the phrase "I'm only the messenger" but this is the latest press release from Theme Park Tickets Direct. It seems they are going all-out in the price war this autumn, and it obviously depends if people are looking purely for price or not. But here's what they say:

"The online retailer that promises to beat any advertised price, www.ThemeParkTicketsDirect.com has cut the prices of 2007 tickets for the top Florida theme parks.

The price of Disney’s 14 Day Ultimate Ticket has been reduced from £165 to £163 per adult and from £145 to £141 per child (aged 3 to 9 years). In addition, a free meal at Florida Mall is offered for those booking this ticket before 31st October 2006. Some other retailers are selling this ticket for £179 per adult and £155 per child.

TPTD continue to offer Disney’s 7 Day Premium ticket for the price of 5 Days and have also cut the price of this ticket for 2007 from £158 to £153 per adult and from £138 to £133 per child.

The price of a 5-Park Orlando FlexTicket, which includes the two Universal parks, SeaWorld, Wet ‘n Wild and Busch Gardens Tampa, is now just £120 for adults; a reduction of £10. The child price is only £106.

TPTD promises to beat the published prices of any other authorised UK vendor including all 2007 tickets.

Robin Allen, General Manager of Theme Park Tickets Direct commented “Although the dollar has shown signs of gathering strength, it’s still relatively weak against a strong pound, so right now we have the opportunity to discount further on 2007 tickets. We feel we should pass exchange rate benefits on to the customer while we can, as who knows when it might change and start going the other way.”

I wish they'd come out and set the record straight DO they or Don't they :confused3

Hi

I noticed one of the members mentioning that they would appreciate it if Attraction Tickets Direct would clarify whether or not we price match and I'm happy to confirm that we do price match against other rates from UK Companies.

As I'm sure you can appreciate, we do have a couple of T&C's, but generally speaking, we are happy to match any genuine price featured in a UK brochure or website.

We are the number 1 Florida ticket retailer in the UK and our average delivery time at the moment is just 3 working days, so if you are looking to get your tickets quickly then please look no further. We also have some fantastic offers for 2007 departures with all Disney tickets being held at the 2006 rates!

Best wishes,

Chris
