Late Summer codes??

Just a suggestion, but IF you have over-paid your room, you could just leave the additional money there and use it as a 'credit' on your room card for making purchases. Let's face it, whatever we can save on our reservations, we put right back into our vacation for something else...like meals, souvenoirs, Mickey Bars.............

That's a good suggestion about leaving any over paid money in my account. There have been no discounts yet for late July, but if they come out I will definitely keep that in mind.

I also hope to get some codes for July 10. We are staying at the Yacht Club and would love to upgrade our room. Lets keep our fingers crossed. I remeber codes for that time coming out in late April.

We're also keeping our fingers crossed for those AP codes. Going to the Beach Club, concierge, July 8 - July 16. Hopefully we can get a code and then stay more nights!

I'm also waiting for AP codes for July. Staying at POP from July 15-19. Just a quick trip for a pin event. My counters below are for the May and Sept trip...no room to add in July. (there is a limit of 2 counters in a message)

I saw someone mentioned the AAA discount....is that for packages too or just room only?? When I called last month for a package deal it was the same as Disney's! Also, if you go through AAA and a code comes out can you get money off or no?

You can always try to apply a code to the exisiting reservation. However discounts are sometimes limited in quantity at certain resorts and for certain time periods. So what you have booked might not be available at discount.

But it's always worth the try.

I am waiting on codes too. We have gone the past 5 years during the end of July, beginning or August or middle of August and have gotten codes 4 times. (as low as $49 for AM). The other time I used my AAA discount. We went over New Years last year and stayed at Pop Century with a AAA discount and the rate was not that bad.

Keeping my fingers crossed. We have reservations at HRH July 15-29 and GF 20-24. Hoping to extend stay or upgrade room at GF with good AP codes. Any possibility Disney Visa will extend their room only rates past July 4? The anticipation is killing me and I'm so afraid that I'll miss the new rates. Does mousesavers usually find out the night before?

We always start off by booking with a AAA discount early, and then change to a code if one comes out that we can apply. If you wait too long, the AAA ones could be gone as well, and if you happen to miss when the codes are released, there may not be any of those left, either. AAA can be a pretty good discount, but I think(?) it's better in value season (when we typically go) than for other season's. I think we got 20% off the rate at POR in early Dec.
