Late Spring/Early Summer 2026 WDW Room Discounts

Doesn't a WDW room discount generally come out right after New Year's Day? I know I've seen discounts in the past come out early January. I'm looking at late May. I was hoping it would show today.

Still nothing this morning. Sadly, I'm seriously considering cancelling my May reservation unless there is a room-only promotion. I'm a DVC member and ran out of points until September 1 so I was considering a moderate, but the rack rates are crazy.

I’m guessing they will have some room only discount, it’s just a matter of when.

Yeah, it has to be at least 15% - 25% for me to even consider it, even though 15% is not great.

Last year it was 15-30% for general public and 25-40% for AP for the timeframe beginning 5/1/2025.

Summer 2026 Room Only Sale is here. Just saved over $460 at GDT and even added an extra night.

Alright! never done 6 nights before, only 3/4. Never had dining plan before. I thought this sounded good.

In our opinion dining plan is definitely not worth the money....ESPECIALLY considering your paying the adult price which includes alcohol for you 12 year old who won't be drinking (since it's quick service I suppose you could order the extra alcoholic drink for yourself,) but ever since they added alcohol to the dining plans; unless you're planning on drinking at every meal it's not worth it at all.
