Our flight into MCO arrives at 11 PM. We are staying at the Dolphin so we don't qualify for ME. We will be renting at car at the Dolphin at the end of our stay but I don't want to rent one at MCO and pay the Dolphin parking fee. So would you think taking a cab to the Dolphin would be our best option? There will be four people (children are adults) plus luggage so would we all fit in a cab? At that time of night would there be a cab waiting? We want to get to the hotel and get settled as soon as possible!

I would use a town car - for the same price as a cab you will have a guaranteed ride at a guaranteed price. We use Tiffany Town Car, in fact just used them r/t last week to the Dolphin!

With sleepy kids IMHO it will be nice to be met at the bottom of the esculator, have help with your bags and then walk over the to the covered area and into the towncar vs getting your own bags and then hailing a cab.

We always take a cab to/from MCO & Dolphin. We landed at 1am once & there were cabs lined up waiting (and believe it or not, other people also waiting for cabs at that hour!)

The fare is $65 one way from MCO to Dolphin.

When we stayed at the Swan a few years ago, we booked the limo through Mears. What was nice is he stopped at the grocery store for us on the way. The price for a cab vs. a limo was about the same for the three of us.
