Late night check in at art of animation?

we are debating between art of animation or disney carribbean beach resort. for the nights we are staying, the price difference is only 100 bucks or so total, so i wonder if there is a major difference between the two resorts?
If you aren't talking about suites at AoA and Pirate rooms at CBR then one major difference is full beds vs. Queen beds. And 1 bus stop vs. many. The big difference there is some of those standard rooms are a long walk to the bus at AoA.

Due to a 6 hour flight delay, we didn't arrive at MCO until around 3 am on my most recent trip. We still took the Magical Express and it was surprisingly efficient at that hour. The bus was almost full. There were definitely others getting in late as well. I would NOT recommend taking a taxi. We wanted to do this to get my son to bed faster, but there were a ton of people waiting for taxis and not many cabs at all. The girl organizing the taxi queue said it could be an hour wait. We took DME and were happy we did. It was 4am by the time we got to our room!!

Things can happen but the goal on ME is to have all guests on their way within 30 min of check in. Be it at 2pm or 2am. Doesn't matter, their target is the same. The bus is supposed to pull out when the first guest has been on for 30 min or its full, which ever comes first. Then you have a 30 min drive to Disney. Where things may change are stops. They may have more when there are fewer guests. Still, I'm using it when we land at 9:30 here in a few weeks. Uber won't save us that much time

Wander around aimlessly. I had a boss years ago that didn't believe me that he wouldn't have a room for his family if they arrived in the middle of the night. Their reservation started on August 2nd and they planned on arriving via their car around 2AM. He was adamant that when they arrive, it will BE August 2nd. Well they didn't have a room and the resort was booked. They tried to crash in their car but at around 4AM they grabbed a cheap room on International Drive until about Noon.
Good example and it's a classic misunderstanding of the hotel business. We hoteliers actually sell nights not days. Because any given night overlaps two calendar days we don't sell calendar days but individual nights. The starting point for a hotel "day" is usually early morning like 5 or 6am and lasts to the next morning at the same hour. If the night overlaps say July 7th and 8th to check in at 2am on July 8th you have to have reserved a room starting July 7th.

We arrives late one year do to delays. Didn't land till after midnight. Got our bags and heads right for DME. Hopped right on a bus and we were off. The buss was filled too. On another note... We arrive next Sunday at 10:40p. We will get our bags and head to the DME counter. Ballparking being at AoA by 12m-1230a. do you think the store will be open still then? I will need to get milk for the night for my son's bottle. Will they be able to help me with that when we arrive?

Everything closes at either 11:30 or Midnight.

Will he drink shelf stable milk? I know it tastes slightly different so it's possible he won't but if he will maybe toss a box in your carry on bag, just to get through the night
