Late May or June for 1st trip

Planning 1st trip to DL in late May or June. We are driving and can be flexible. I'm confused by the crowd calendars because they DIRECTLY contradict each other. For example:

Unofficial Guide and Isitpacked? both recommend May 27-30, as these dates are bookended by Grad Nights. Additionally, I believe the local weekday ticket deal ends May 26th. But this is Memorial Day Weekend and there is a Star Wars Convention. Fantasmic returns as well. (Meanwhile Undercover Tourist calendar predicts the 28th will be an 11/10 for crowds, with heavy crowds throughout the weekend.

So is Memorial Weekend a good time to go? Or would it be better to visit sometime in June?
We hope to get a 4 day ticket.

Crowd calendars for Disneyland are generally very bad. I would avoid Memorial Weekend if crowds are a main concern. The first week of June should be better but once all the schools get out by mid June, you'd expect bigger crowds. Now that Juneteenth is a recognized holiday, avoid the week of June 20th.

Imagine Keys blockouts start June 3 and Enchant Key blockouts start June 10.
