Late last night I spent alot of time on this board...catching up on things I missed and revisiting others. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane and found myself laughing at quite a bit of our postings.
Anyway, my point is to let you know that I discovered I have a garden journal right here on The DIS Flower Board. So many of my postings have a history of things I have done in the garden, complete with dates and pictures! I printed some of them out and will add them to the garden journal I started last year but never really kept up to date. This is perfect.
Can't wait to do more searching and printing. I hope the board still has the really old postings of two or three years ago. I didn't check out how far we go back. I also intend to print out some great advice given in previous postings by others such as Mamu's periodic lessons in different gardening subjects.
So, I just thought I would pass on my discovery to you guys and if you have posted pictures of your gardens in the past, you might like to dig them up and print them out for your own personal gardening reference. Obviously, if you posted pictures, you already have the pictures. What I am so excited about is realizing that the combination of my pictures and my (sometimes) longwinded explanations to be the best type of journaling I could have done.
Thank you all here on the Garden and Flower Board. I know this winter was a long tough one and many of us were hibernating bears but the smell of Spring is definitely in the air and I am feeling that pull to go outdoors. Looking forward to more info and sharing on this board.
Like buds in the Springtime, this board will grow again too!!
