Okay for those that have been to Disney in late July (I am going July 19-26) vs. Disney in early December (when I normally go). How much more crowded will it be in late July?

went w/ a group of friends for a family reunion one July
& then 1st trip w/ DD was in late July also.

Super crowded :crazy2: & HOT HOT HOT :firefight
swore to never go in the summer months again & luckily i haven't had to!

our 2nd trip was in early December the following year

pleasant daytime temps, only needed a light to medium jacket @ night, low crowds, best trip we've had (all the rest have been fall break trips due to school).
If i could take her out of school again for early December trips i would do it in a heartbeat.

The only drawback is that the parks close earlier in the late fall/early winter.
But the latest they closed was 9p & one night was 12m bc of MVMCP.

even w/ the early hours we still got to do everything we wanted because of the low crowds - so it was a breakeven situation IMO.pixiedust:

I'm not sure there is a comparision. DH's illustration for you is like being the one of two or three families on a bus in Dec to barely having breathing room on a bus in July.

You're going from just below average to average, to extremely crowded. Also, it's going to be stupid hot and humid. We're normally October goers, but we went for a SWW last year in June. We did one MK day during that trip, and while crowds weren't as bad as I expected, what I noticed was that the guests were way more testy with each other. There just wasn't as much goodwill between guests as we were used to. The CMs seemed less chipper, too. I'd be crabby in that heat, too. Heh.
