Late-ish check-in at BCV

As we won't be arriving at the BCVs until at least 8 pm, if not later, is it best to inform them of this, or is that not necessary. I obviously wouldn't want them to cancel our villa, thinking we weren't going to show up!

Also, can we use Stormalong Bay on our check-out day - or is this a complete no-no?!

You don't need to call. They cannot cancel your room, and in fact if you didn't show up at all they'd still charge you the points. So the room is "paid for" and will be held.

Also, can we use Stormalong Bay on our check-out day - or is this a complete no-no?!

You can use SAB and all of the park amenities (assuming you have a pass) for the entire day of your check out. Enjoy!

Don't forget to hang on to your room keys after checkout to get through gates, etc.

We arrived at BCV after 8 in June, there was no problem, we got a nice studio.

We had one of those Disney moments when we checked-in at BCV after 8:00 pm in March.

• Arrived from Vero, got lost finding the highway from Vero due to construction detours, trip took almost 4 hours when you included supper break.
• All four of us Grumpy and DS (then 3 months) had cried in the car seat for the last hour of the drive. DD 2 was in doing Ok but it was past her bedtime and was getting edgy.

Before we hit the check-in counter, DD had gotten 2 stickers from a cast member and a coloring book. Then the CM noticed she was coloring a balloon and asked her what her favorite color was. She disappeared and then showed up a few minutes later with a helium filled purple balloon.

Instantly took the edge off all of us and DD was so thrilled, it brought a tear to my eye.
