I am doing a "transfer day" in the middle of my trip from WDW to HRH, we plan on spending the day at SeaWorld, then checking in at the HRH... are my chances for a room upgrade better or worse checking in late in the day?

Based on your experiences, are there more definitive rooms available for upgrades? I ama loews member, so I hope that helps....

Thanks for your in-put

In my humble opinion, I think youhave better chances of an upgrade earlier in the day. My DH and I always stay at either the Hard Rock or at the Portofino an average of 2 times a year and we always check in early around 8:00 a.m. We have only had one problem with a clerk at the front desk that told us our room would not be ready - we then asked to speak to the manager. We were upgraded to a suite and had our suite ready in ten minutes. I would definately try to check in early.

I agree. The earlier the better. If there are upgrades available they will be given out as Loews First guests check in. So if there are only a few upgrades available on a certain day then you would be more likely to get one if you check in early.
