Late California Grill Reservation?

I was curious what happens if we get a 9pm reservation for California Grill. Are we able to order just dessert? If so, are we able to leave our table to see the fireworks and come back? How does that typically work? Thanks!

You should be able to order whatever you want.

When we were there in 2010 they did not serve any food during the fireworks. Your server will announce when the fireworks are about to start and many diners will get up and go to the viewing patio. Depending on timing of ADR and fireworks you can check in early at CG and I think they will allow you to view the firworks prior to your ressy.

We scheduled our ADR about 2 hours prior to fireworks time. We checked in a little early for our adr, we requested a window table (of course they can't gaurantee it) and told them we were fine waiting in the lounge until one opened up. We were fortunate and were seated quickly at a window table

You could just request to sit in the lounge for a dessert or cocktails and by pass an ADR. You could also make very early ADR's and come back later for the Wishes viewing. Heres hoping you get your desired time.
