Late Arrival and payment due?

I just realized that I will be checking in after midnight. I made my reservation for the 22nd, and I have to pay the balance on the 22nd at check in. Will they cancel my reservation or is it ok to pay technically on the 23rd since it will have turned that at midnight? They are aware that I will be checking in late. Should I just pay the whole thing now rather than at check in? I know this seems silly, but it was keeping me awake last night!

There will be no problem waiting until you arrive to pay the remaining balance on your reservation.

I would think you'd be OK (afterall, you've already paid for the first night), but if you are still concerned either call the resort and talk to someone about their policy, or pay it before you leave for your own sanity . -HM

This also happened to us on our last visit. I called Disney Reservations and asked if it would be a problem. They said that it wouldn't be a problem as long as they know in advance that you will actually be arriving after midnight. Otherwise, during the busy seasons they may consider you a "no-show" and give your room away to those who are wanting to extend their stay.
