Just curious...........I have a couple of ADR's scheduled just a few minutes before restaurant closing such as Ohana at 9:30 when it closes at 10 among a few others, Are they going to mind if we aren't done and its after 10 or are they going to rush us out? I prefer later seatings since the restaurants are usually a lot less crowded and quieter. :)

I believe the restaurant closies to seating at 10pm but continues to serve until the last guests leave. You should be just fine. In fact, it should be a nice quiet dinner as the last of the childrens activities stop at 930 and the restaurant will be clearing out.

You should never feel rushed when you get a last seating at a restaraunt. They plan accordingly. If they didn't want to serve you after closing time, they would stop taking ADR's an hour before they close. Depending how long past 10 pm you are and whether or not you are one of only a few tables, they may ask you if you plan on having dessert when you are still eating but usually that's so they know whether they can lock up their coolers for the night.

My main concern would be if the place you are dining is a buffet or not since most are not replenished after a certain time (usually 15-30 minutes before closing) and could possibly run out of certain items or may not be as good of quality since it would be "sitting" for a while.

We have had late ADRs before too, and have never, NEVER been rushed out. We were one of the last ones in LeCellier on our last trip, and they were even cleaning off tables and putting up chairs which I thought was kind of rude, but after looking at it, they don't want to stay till the wee hours in the morning either.

Anyway, our server was great, she said don't worry about rushing, take our time and we did, even dessert and another drink! :teeth:

You'll be fine - their last seating is usually 10pm, not necessarily when they pack up and go home ;)

We often get the last seating of the day and have never felt rushed (Except at LeCellier but we had a horrid waiter) and have excellent food quality. No worries!

You'll be fine :) We are usually late eaters and have never been rushed. The only time we were even asked if we were going to have more of anything was when we were at Ohanas (very late one day) and our waiter asked if we were going to have more shrimp. We said we would love more and he brought out every last shrimp that was left in the restaurant. He was an awesome waiter!
