Late ADR question

In January, we have 8:20pm ressies at Crystal Palace. However, Disney has recently changed the park hours so that MK closes at 8PM not at 9pm like originally scheduled. Since the park is closing earlier than expected, will Disney be calling me to cancel those ressies? I called Disney Dining and they assured me it wasn't a problem and that our ressies are still good. But I'm still a bit worried about it so I thought I'd better do a double check with ya'll. Do you think we'll run into any problems? TIA!

I can't see you having a problem. The park usually stays open much later then the announced closing time,...they will shut down the rides but the retail shops stay open until the parks clear out. I think WDW makes most of their money once the parks "close" and folks have nothing else to do but shop!

Unofficially, the park stays open at least an hour past closing time for people to shop on the way out. So you're fine.
