Lastminutetravel tickets quick question :)

Still hoping someone will come back and report a recent experience with using their vouchers... The more positive experiences I hear about getting tickets from LMT, the better I'll feel about purchasing through them. :goodvibes

And just to be clear, I already purchased my tickets through LMT...I just wanted to feel BETTER about having done so. ;) Still a little nervous. Anyway, I will definitely report back in May about my whole LMT experience. I was just hoping to hear from someone before I go.

Here is the short version (we are here now). Getting the tickets was not a problem. Getting through the gate was a minor problem. Turns out LMT is selling the get 5 for the price of 3 deal effective now even though they are not supposed to be effective until May 1. We didn't notice until we tried to get in and they said our tickets were invalid. The supervisor was able to override it and said they are honoring the tickets. So, every day they showed as invalid and a supervisor had to come over and let us in. We didn't try to get Fastpasses (didn't need them - it was short wait times) so not sure if that was impacted. So, if you're going after May 1 there should be no problem.

We are here now....I had a little trouble getting the tickets---I brought both the Last Minute Ticket Voucher/receipt as well as the Tourico (sp?) voucher to the ticket window. I figured the more paperwork I had, the better, but it ended up confusing the person selling the tickets, having two different company names. It ended up being fine, just took a little longer than it should have. I would recommend presenting only the main voucher (keep your receipt in your pocket just in case you need it).

She found the tickets under the Tourico (sp?) company name in the computer. I know this has been addressed before, but I will state again, you definitely need that official voucher. I got nervous and called them about a week before we left, and I think I didn't speak with the right person because they sent me the LMT voucher instead. However, the official one arrived on its own on Friday, and I had put in a start date for the following Wednesday. So it came in plenty of time.

Also, the tickets they gave me are the paper type, not the credit card (plastic) type. Obviously this isn't a huge deal, but I did find that mildly annoying...they seem less sturdy for multiple fast pass scans, and if they get wet they won't work (yikes!). The CM recommended I write names on them, so if they get lost, there is a better chance of getting them reunited...aparently if you lose your tickets there is no way to track you in the system and you are out of luck :scared1:

I was of the understanding that all PH's were paper except for the souvenir ones that you can not buy separate from a package.

I'm pretty sure if you buy tickets only at AAA you get the credit card type. That is what is says in my brochure. I don't think I'm going to use AAA anymore though. LMT is such a good deal and I'm feeling more comfortable about them after hearing others stories.

So did you but a 3 day Hopper and get 3 for 5? I'm asking because I planned on getting their 4 day Hopper, but if the 3 day Hopper is coming with the 2 free days then I'll just get the 3 day and save a couple of dollars. Thanks for all your help.:)

We bought our tickets from LMT and used them last week at Disneyland. The morning we got there we took the voucher to the ticket window. The CM had to ask someone for help, but there was no problem and we got our tickets in less than 10 minutes. That evening we realized we had lost one of our adult tickets!!!!! I have no idea how it happened, but it was lost. They were 3-day park hoppers and we had only used the first day. We went to the window and they replaced the lost ticket for free!!!! I was so happy and surprised. They were able to track when we had first come in the the park and they just made the lost ticket invalid in the computer. They asked if we got the tickets from "Tourico" and were able to see when we first had the ticket scanned and everything. Disneyland is the best!
We also booked our hotel through them and had no problems. I say if you are debating whether to use LMT do it! We had a great experience and paid a lot less money! :)

Thanks for posting your experience. I'm sure I'll use them now. 1 question...someone posted that their 3 day Hopper ended up being a 5 day that wasn't supposed to be valid until May 1st. Did your passes end up being regular 3 day hoppers or was it a 3 day get 2 free hopper? Thanks and glad you got a new ticket.

Just thought I would throw in my experience so far. We received our vouchers via e-mail over the weekend for our May 14th trip - I emailed them about 2 weeks ago stating that I would like them now even though we aren't going till later. I got a prompt reply that said they would come close to the trip date, but then they just showed up this weekend. Both e-mails from the compant were friendly and professional - made me feel better about them :goodvibes

I have a question for those that have actually used them - when you exchange the ticket vouchers, you do it at the window where you would go to buy tickets, not at the entrance turnstiles or at guest relations? I don't want to waste time in the wrong line. Also, I think it said on the receipt that you can exchange them at the onsite hotels when checking in? Has anyone done that?

Thanks!:goodvibes

So you got your vouchers already? We are arriving May 13th and don't have ours yet....:confused3

Just thought I would put in my experience so far. We are going to be at the parks on May 10. I bought our tickets a couple of weeks ago, but didn't enter our travel date. I was emailed my voucher within about 30 min. after my purchase. So we're all set to go with no waiting on the voucher. I believe the voucher is valid for 60 days after purchase so if your planning on leaving within that period it's safe to do it without entering your travel date, and then there's no waiting for the voucher.

I too was wondering where I should go to pick up my tickets, and are they open until park closing? I would like to pick up our tickets the evening prior.

To redeem the voucher we went to the same window where one would go to purchase tickets. They issued the tickets which you then take to the turnstiles to be admitted to the park.

I don't know what time the ticket windows close. We arrived Sunday late afternoon, walked right up to a ticket window (no waiting) and got our tickets around 4 pm and then went into the park. I'd imagine they close 30-60 minutes before the park closes, but I don't know for sure.

LMT told me they don't sell promotional DL tickets (such as the 5 for 3) they only sell the PH's at the noted discount pricing.

I'm just wondering if the 3 day Hopper they have listed is really the 3 for 5 deal. I'm planning on getting the 4 day, but if the 3 day is really 5.....I'll get the 3 day. Confusing I know. I probably need to call LMT.

I ordered our tickets on the 21st, having read this thread, so I know to request the vouchers early, or they won't send them for awhile.

Today, I called up, because there's still no charge on my account, even for a pending transaction! I don't want us to have problems when we get to DL.

The girl says they put it through on the 21st, and not to worry about it. (which of course, makes me a tad worried  ) I then mentioned that we may go earlier ( per instructions on this thread :rolleyes1 ) , and she said to e-mail them a week before we plan to go, at customer_support@lastminutetravel.com.
Apparently, this is so that they have documentation, because it is very difficult for them to cancel after they send vouchers.

I'm feeling a tad iffy about this, honestly. I didn't want to argue with her, but it does say that they may be canceled as long as the tickets haven't been picked up, so I think it's a bit crazy to make us DL planners wait for the vouchers. And as for the billing....hmmm..

All I know is that is what the Disneyland gate supervisor told me. I didn't ask any more questions because I didn't really care and was just happy to be there. :)
