Lastminutetravel tickets quick question :)

in the other topic about LMT there were others who bought and had no problems with being able to get tickets I think the fee situation is a bit worrisome though they really should be upfront on thier website before you buy the tickets!!!!

Agreed. If you look in the other thread there are several people who have used the voucher without issue. I read it thoroughly before I purchased. Also, the gentleman I spoke to today was quite helpful, looked up my account info and explained about the voucher and foreign bank issue. It did not seem shady to me. With all that said, though, I will report back after our trip (which is still a couple of weeks away).

I asked a lot of questions today and they were very prompt and forthcoming with their answers. The international charge is interesting. I will check the cc statement. I went ahead and purchased 2 tickets. I had immediate access to the voucher to print and redeem at the gates. After that purchase I fired off a few more questions regarding the dining vouchers. Here is hoping it all works out as we will use our GAD vouchers for the non blocked AP days:thumbsup2

I don't think it's that unusual that they're using a foreign bank as they do business in several countries (as evidenced by their website). I do think it would be more appropriate for them to warn customers about a possible foreign charge fee BEFORE they buy tickets. The $13 charge would not have made me change my mind about buying from them if I'd known up front, but it was a surprise to see it on my account.

I will let you all know what happens regarding them refunding the $13. I'm not holding my breath - most online companies are quick to take your money and slow to give it back (at least in my experience)!!

I just spoke with a customer service rep from LMT, and she was very nice and very helpful! :thumbsup2 According to her, the voucher that you need to take to the ticket booth is the one that you can email yourself or print from the 'myaccount' link on the site. It is the one that lists the reservation and record number towards the top, but not the prices you paid, which is the only distinction from the receipt. I asked her to email me a copy of the voucher, just to make sure that it is identical to the one on their website, and it is.

They are printed and we are ready to go! :cool1:

This is NOT true, you need to have the Attractions Department e-mail you the actual voucher that will be sent in an e-mail as an attachment, if it does not say voucher on it then it is not in fact a voucher. I have printed the first e-mail I got and also the one from my account and later found out from previous posters that it is not the voucher. I called LMT today and they finally e-mailed me the actual voucher which says right on it: ***Exchange this voucher at any main entrance Ticket Window to receive your admission tickets. Guest’s staying at a hotel of the Disneyland® Resort may exchange this voucher at the hotel front desk upon check-in for admission tickets. Photo identification will be required for issuance of all Disneyland® Resort theme park tickets. Subject to restrictions and change without notice. VOID IF ALTERED. Disneyland® Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park hours vary and are subject to change without notice. Unused tickets and vouchers are not refundable. ***.

It also looks NOTHING like the receipt and other thing I had printed from my account. The Attractions Department is the only one who is able to e-mail the actual voucher so whoever you speak to if they are not in the Attractions Department they would not know that the receipt is not good enough to get your tickets at the DLR gate. It's too bad that they aren't told about this so they aren't giving false information unknowingly.

In the Disneyland webpage it says children under 3 do not pay ticket but in the LMT site it is stated that children from 2 - 9 pay ticket. I want to know which information is the right one !! How reliable is the LMT site information?

Children 3 and up need a ticket. If they are still 2, they are free.

I agree with amy and kids.
I used LMT a few weeks ago for 5 day hoppers and character dining. When you call customer service you need to make sure you talk with someone in the attractions department. They will eventually based on your trip date email you with an attachment that is your voucher to turn in at customer relations to get your tickets not at the gate.
I had no problems with this and picked up my tickets a day early. I did however have MAJOR issues with my character dining. LMT told me that I did not need a emailed voucher for this and just needed my printed receipt from my account. When I went to pick them up DL however said they needed a voucher just like my park ones. It was a HUGE mess for me. However on the other thread others have said they were able to get their character dining just fine. Don't know if I had people that didn't know what they were doing, although there was like 4 of them working on the whole thing.
But to let people know, the site is legit, you do get tickets, but you do need a voucher that was emailed to you and doesn't look anything like the ones on your account.

Thank you guys so much for the heads up! I will call again today. I can't imagine arriving and not being able to get our tickets. :scared1:

Question for you: since you didn't have the voucher for the dining, did you work it out eventually, or did you lose out on the price of the prepaid meal?

Thanks for pointing this out. I contacted them by email to ensure we have the correct vouchers. I received a confirmation and a receipt but no attachment.

Heres a tip- I paid for my tickets on LMT last night and used the current date (4\7\10) as the travel date even though we aren't actually leaving until next Wednesday and was emailed my vouchers by this morning. If you are someone who wants those right away without the hassle of calling and such I would do that. It says that the voucher expires 60 days from the date of issue though, so this would only work if you are buying your tickets less than 60 days from when you are leaving.

And another question, lol. We are arriving Wendesday night and won't be in the parks until Thursday. I see that you can exchange your voucher for tickets before actually using the tickets but how late could I do this? DL closes at 11 the night we arrive and we are expecting to be at the hotel by 9 pm. Worse case I guess I could run over and exchange our tickets while the girl I'm going with checks us into the hotel...

How soon before your trip did you get the voucher?

Subscribing. I'm trying to decide whether to take a chance with this company. The savings would be great. If I do it then I will definitely use a credit rather than a debit card for addional insurance against fraud.

I purchased my tickets on April 2nd. Checked my c.c. statement last night and no extra fees.

For those who have had the actual voucher emailed to them... does it use the words "Admissions and Purchase Media voucher" on the voucher itself? Those are the words used in the receipt/other thing you can email yourself. See Below:

**Guest information: *Guests must present the original Admissions and Purchase Media voucher at any applicable main entrance ticket booth in the Disneyland Resort during normal business hours.

*Guests whose name appears on Admissions and Purchase Media voucher will be required to present personal identification with picture satisfactory to Disney and the name on such identification MUST match a name on the Admissions and Purchase Media Voucher.

khowell, when you said to turn in the voucher to customer relations and not at the gate, were you referring to a ticket booth like the receipt states to do?

Has anyone received their vouchers without doing a major follow-up after ordering? It just seems odd that you have to go in search of the actual voucher. They should just send it you. ** OK, I just scrolled down to re-read some of the comments to see if I had any more questions. It sounds like pdxJolene was able to get vouchers without getting the run-around. (Awesome tip, by the way!:thumbsup2)

If they are indeed sending them out in the order needed, date-wise, I wonder how far in advance they do so. Anybody out there have a NORMAL smooth experience that can answer that question?!?

Just received one of my vouchers, but not the other yet. It has the parent company's logo across the top (touricoholidays), is one page, and it doesn't say "Admissions and Purchase Media voucher" anywhere on the voucher itself. Mine says the same thing as Amy and kids's. One word of caution about putting an earlier date as your date of travel: if you are going soon that's no problem, but the voucher says "Date of Expiration: 60 days after date of issue" so if you are booking for a later trip, you'd want to be aware of that.

BTW, they also spelled my first name incorrectly, although it was correct on all the other receipts and forms.

bethy, I know why you are hesitating. For my group of 6, using LMT saved us almost $300. If it hadn't, I don't know if I would say it was worth all the hassle. I think it will be once it is not so new, and hopefully it will get smoother as the process goes on. If you are looking for the same well-oiled and customer oriented service that you get with ARES or GAT, for instance, this is not the company I would choose. That being said, I know that once we are there, the magic will win, and none of these frustrations will seem important. :goodvibes

I think they do automatically e-mail the voucher to you, I just don't know how far in advance they do that. I didn't want to wait around and forget just in case they didn't happen to send it without being asked. Our trip is in 12 days and I still hadn't gotten an e-mail. It really wasn't a big deal to get it sent when I called, I just asked about the voucher he put me on hold and spoke to the attractions department, came back after about 5 minutes max and said it would be sent within 10 minutes and it was. For the savings we saved by using this company I think that was WELL worth it. The company has been WONDERFUL to work with and I even spoke to Disney about them before I ordered and was told they are legit and had never run into a problem with anyone getting their tickets with them.

I emailed them again a couple of hours ago asking that my email be forwarded to the Attactions department and requesting that they send my voucher ASAP. They responded quickly and attached the voucher which is as Amy & DizFan13 described. And yes, it's totally different than the receipt or "vocuher" that is accessible by logging in to my account on their website. It was odd to me that it was sent as a Word document that could be modified...but I guess maybe it's all ok because of course the listed "customer number" will need to match to my name. To be on the safe side I'm going to bring along the receipt, website issued "voucher" and this real voucher.

On another note, yesterday I sent in a copy of my credit card statement and asked for reimbursement of the foreign charges. I received an email this morning that stated they were forwarding it to the Accounting department and would be processed in 5-7 business days. I'll report back and let you all know how that works out.

For those who want to know exactly what the voucher looks like, I took a picture of mine. I took out the important info but otherwise it is what it looks like.

The part about the voucher that I posted in one of the previous posts is actually on a separate page. I did print both of the pages.
