Last week of Oct.

I have finally made reservations for Oct. 24 - Oct. 30. I thought it was odd that I couldn't get the WL for the whole length of stay, so I did a little research and found out there is a 13K race at MGM on one of the nights. I ended up taking the first 3 nights at FW cabins and the remaining nights at the WL. Does anyone know how crowded it will be. I am expecting high crowds since the resorts are so full. Any chance I am wrong?

I really don't think that the parks will be that crowded although the Food & Wind festival will be in full swing at Epcot. I think another reason that you could not get the WL for the entire stay is the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the MK and the WL is a MK resort. Overall the end of October is nowhere near the summer crowds or holiday season. Fast Passes should work just fine for those popular attractions. Have a Great Vacation.

How cool would you expect it to get at night and in the early AM? Are we likely to need sweatshirts and jackets?

Boy, that's a hard question to answer! We have been there in October and had to buy gloves and fleece jackets at night cause we were not prepared for it to be so cold. Then there are the times like last year when we were totally comfortable walking around at MNSVSHP in short sleeve T-shirts! My best advice is to keep checking the local weather the week before you go and try to pack accordingly.We will be there October 25th thru the 28th so I will be doing the same thing!!

The race is Saturday 10/27 and is followed by a "private" party at MGM from 9 - 12 for race participants
