First thing I have to say is that I am addicted to these boards!! My DH thinks I'm nuts! The first thing I do everyday on the computer is check for new posts on the DISboards!!

Anyway, we are leaving next Friday (at zero dark early)(as my Marine Corps husband calls it!). We are stopping in St. Augustine to see family, and then are heading to Orlando. We will be in WDW the 25-29th. How are the crowds this time of year?

We will be traveling with our DS-6, and DD-2&1/2. I think that I have done all of the prep work...travel bags for each kid, tv/vcr for the drive, booked the hotels, bought all of our tickets(3 day PHP, and SeaWorld tix), made PS for lunch with Pooh,Tigger,ect... We are staying offsite, and our hotel offers "kids eat free", which we will be taking advantage of. I have done some grocery shopping at our Commissary, for snacks, drinks, etc. Will $100/day be enough for food for the 4 of us?

I only have a short time left before we leave, so any input you all can give me would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Semper Fi!

We'll be there at the same time. :) We're there from 4/24 to 5/2. I'd say that if most of your meals will be counter service with only a couple of sit downs added in that you would likely be fine with that. :) You can always view the menus for almost all of the restaurants (counter service and sit down) at this site and estimate what you think you'd likely be getting.

Hope you have a great trip! We'll be the ones with the 2 little boys, one of whom is on a constant mission to avoid anything and everything remotely having to do with princesses! ;)

Thanks Lori!!

Like I said before, we are staying offsite, so we will have access to "outside" restaurants. I am bringing snacks and such for the kids throughout the day. My kids are really just breakfast and dinner kids anyway. They like to have a big breakfast, and then kind of snack throughout the day, and then have a big dinner. Hopefully this will work out! I do have more money at my disposal, but I am going to try not to use it!

I am so excited about going...sometimes I feel like I am more exctied than my kids!

I'll look for you! We will be the ones with a 6 year old "angel" boy, and a 2 year old "hellion" girl!! We have a lot of "Marine Corps" t-shirts and stuff, so look for us!!

Have a great trip, and thanks for the advice!!

Don't forget the 21/2 year old will eat free at the buffets. We loved that for my son, unfortunately this year he's 3 1/2 so now we have to pay for his food and his park admission. Oh well we enjoyed the freebie last year.

Thanks Robyn!

That's good to know! I'm sure even if we do a "sit-down" dinner somewhere, that between me, my DH, and DS, we can make up a plate of food for her!

Keep the great advice coming!! We are getting close to liftoff!!!

In reading the posts, I noticed that someone said that a 2 1/2 year old would eat free at a buffet service. Is that at all or just a few?
