Last Trip? It was until we met Food & Wine -- Recap 2/12

Loved the updates!

Those candied apples had my mouth watering...they look so delicious and unhealthy..but delicious nonetheless

I've always wanted to meet Mary Poppins but she's never been out when we're there :( She's adorable !

I love how most CM's are so willing to go above and beyond to make guests happy. And they always take such good pictures. Lol

I'm hoping to make it to F&W next year and the cheddar cheese soup will be the first on my list. That's disappointing about the filet minion - I hope it's better next year because it's my favorite.

And happy dance for getting new AP!!

All caught up!!! SorryI missed your birthday Kathy A Happy Belated 39th !!!:goodvibes I did not realize you were a smoker !! I have been cigarette free for 6 weeks , still puffing those E Cigs though!! So glad Mark kept his part time job at Target!! I missed what department he is working in !!!:confused3

I took a long break from the DIS and am finally catching up on TR's. My dad was diagnosed with cancer right before my cruise and I have been having a hard time dealing with it. He should recover completely but I sat back and took notice and realized his health is declining in other areas. I am a total Daddy's girl so it's been rough, even Disney couldn't cheer me up.

I loved meeting you and Mark last year and could probably spend all day talking baseball with him. Spring training starts soon.

AKL is a great resort, absolutely loved it in May although I didn't have nearly as nice a view.

The spot for the Frozen fireworks reminded me of a trip years ago with my kids. That was where the fireworks were held then.

Kona looks very good, I'll have to keep it in mind for a future trip.

Sorry you didn't like 1900 Park Faire. Guess the characters are hit and miss. We had a great time with them, it was our neighbors we had issues with. The kids ran wild and the whole family were slobs, food everywhere. I do think I'll stick to CP though. Nothing beats an early ADR and an empty Main Street.

Glad you enjoyed Soarin. I am probably the only person in the world that hates that ride. I turn green. I can ride Star Tours and no issues but IMAX and 3D and I get deathly ill. :confused3

I don't think I like the Frozen overload at the parks. I like the movie but my DGD's LOVE that movie and watch it in my car. Had to listen to it 2 times last week on a trip and I am so ready to LET IT GO!!!

Looks like you had some awesome DIS meets. My first real friend on here has become a very good friend and I am fortunate to see him outside of Disney on occasion - ScottNY.

Food and Wine looks so good but unfortunately I may not get to Disney at all this year. No one to travel with as my DH doesn't really like it as much as I do and my travel buddy has other plans. :(

I think I told you on FB but I'll say it again that is a wonderful pic of your sons in the baseball bat frame but I love that frame. I need to find one for a pic of my grandson the ball player. He has already been named the number 1 pitcher for his HS team, as a sophomore.

OK I am finally caught up. I hope to stay that way now. I took advantage of the frigid cold and have been hibernating. :rotfl2:

Great update! Your splash mountain photos are great, love your pic of the drop! I have always been afraid to try the filet in Canada after other negative reviews, I will keep on avoiding as you just confirmed its not very good. However the trout sounds like something I need to try and of course that soup is amazing. Love the pic of Mark in the Remy Chef hate, as Remy is one of my favorite characters. Oh yes I have used a trash can more than once as a table at the festival, they really need more tables for people. Next time I may buy one of those little trays.

Thanks, Lori. We used to love that filet, but when we took Andy in 2011 (or 2012) and took him there for dinner, we all had a horrible meal. I won't go back after having outstanding meals at Yachtsman. The trout was heavenly. I really wish they had not taken Remy out of Chefs. A few more tables would be nice. What little trays are those?

Lots of updates. Luvin the lights you got for Christmas

Thanks, Emma.

Now I need a snack after reading and seeing all those wonderful food options

Most of it was really good, Jen.

You were having some good luck with characters ( and scratch offs ;) )

Yes we were. :)

Nice eats at F&W. I have not tried the trout but the times I have had the filet it was small but good.

I wish the filet had been good; I really used to love it.

Oh I need to make it to F&W in 2015. :lmao:

I hope you do; I'm so glad we are doing it again.

That is fantastic news that Mark will stay on at Target and that they will be flexible with his umpiring schedule.

He was very excited about it, Dee.

That is such a cute meet and greet area near Dumbo. I like the snakes in Donald's area.

It really is a cute area.

I love your pictures at the Magic Kingdom. Looks like you had your zoom on. The one of the Zip-A-Dee-Lady came out so nice and clear!

I did play with the zoom a lot at MK that day. Since I didn't have a lot of time before we left to work with the camera, I wanted to play a bit.

You also got fantastic pictures in the Country Bears show.

Thanks.

First, a private bus ride, and now a private ferry trip. You guys are getting quite the treatment.

I felt like a celebrity.

Love Chip & Dale!

They are so cute and so much fun.

Bummer about the filet at the Canada booth, but I'm glad to hear that the trout was so good you went back for seconds.

:thumbsup2

The trout really was. I had to hide it from Mark. :rotfl2:

I love all the photos. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much; glad you are enjoying them.

I love the updates!

Thanks, Sarah.

I love all the character pictures! Goofy is one of my favorites, so I'm glad you guys got pictures with him.

Mark is a HUGE Goofy fan (well, Dumbo is his favorite, but Goofy is probably fourth on the list).

Splash Mountain ... yay! Although that is the one mountain I've never done ... I've heard good things about it, and I love your pictures. And omg Mark in the picture ... he looks like he's trying to avoid the camera (you look like you're having tons of fun).

I'm a huge Splash Mountain fan. Mark, on the other hand, hates to get wet. And he is hiding hoping NOT to get wet. :lmao:

I've actually never seen the Move It, Shake It Parade (or whatever it's called ... I actually think they just changed the name, but I never remember it), but it looks really cute!

I think they've changed it completely, but I could be wrong.

Yay, you got to see Mary Poppins!! There's really never a PhotoPass photographer with Mary Poppins? That's interesting.

Nope; never a PP with Mary Poppins.

Sorry to hear about the filet at Canada ... but yay for the trout being good! And I love that you used a garbage can as a table ... they get a bad rap, but garbage cans do make excellent tables, and when you're ready to throw out your trash, you don't have to walk far at all!

A very good point about the garbage can, Sarah, and not having to walk far to throw out the trash.

Great updates, Kathy! I love Splash, but I almost love Bear Country Jamboree even more. :)

Thanks, Liesa. I feel the Country Bears get a bad rap. :(

So... why are there no photographers with Mary Poppins?? I'm curious now!!

Someone gave the correct answer later in the responses. Julie Andrews has now allowed it without royalties. However, we were told by the Cast Member with her that things could change this year sometime.

I'm super, SUPER excited to do the F&W every time I read one of your updates!! So many yummy choices! :cloud9:

The food for the most part was phenomenal.

Great update!

Thanks, Karin.

I just love the SM photo of you! :thumbsup2 And then to just run into Mary Poppins.

It just worked out so well.

And now it is my time to say you are killing me with your food pics. :lmao: I have not had breakfast yet - pure torture. :rotfl2:

Thanks for sharing!

I figured you were due some payback.

Sounds like a great birthday, even if you had to opt for Red Lobster instead! That's great news about Mark's job!

I like the garlic rolls at Red Lobster...so wasn't too disappointed.

I love Splash Mountain, too. Just so classic and I love the story line. Your ride picture is so cute.

I'm with you...love the storyline. Thanks.

Ah, the Canadian cheddar cheese soup! We found a recipe for it and are hoping to try it soon. So good! Sorry the filet wasn't good for you guys- it's a shame that it's hit or miss because ours was so good. I wanted to try the rainbow trout too.. Next time!

Let me know how the soup turns out when you try it. I'd love to make it some time.

Awww Goofy sure does love to give hugs. He just gets it. :goodvibes

He is the second best hug giver (Tigger is the best).

Splash is just pure joy. Plain and simple. Pure joy.

I couldn't agree more, Rob.

And speaking of pure joy... THE COUNTRY BEARS!!!!! Awww Al!!! <3

I thought you'd like this update because of Al. :)

Oh how lovely to meet Miss Poppins. I love English accents so I could listen to her all day.

She was quite lovely. We enjoyed meeting her immensely.

Sorry the meat at the canada kiosk was so bad. I'll have a talk with them about that. When I finally get it switched to Canadia there will be none of that, lol.

I would appreciate you taking care of that when it is switched to Canadia, Rob...thank you.

Really enjoyed your updates and pictures. Made me very "homesick" as it is cold and yucky here today in Vermont. Snow has stopped and going to warm up abit before the next cold front. But I am happy to say that next Jan. we will be going to Disney for my birthday....the big 70! Love your pictures, it makes me feel like I am there with you.

Thanks, Judy. I'm sorry you are having crummy weather too. I'm so happy you are going to Disney for your 70th...that's awesome!

Hi Kathy!! I'm back and starting to catch up with everyone. You're first! I'm so far behind, but I'm caught up here now. Here we go.

Awwww....thanks for making me first, Wendy.

The Backstage Safari Tour looks really cool, we've looked into it a few times. Glad you had good luck with the animals.

I think you and Johnny would really enjoy it and hope you can do it on a future trip.

Love your Lion King shirt and Mark's Mine! Seagulls shirt.

Thanks; I think that is the shirt that Mary and the girls got him one year.

Loving all the Photopass pictures from all updates, you guys got a lot of photos taken! :thumbsup2 That's awesome!

Gotta get our money's worth out of that MM.

Aww new Lion King theatre! Can't wait to see it myself.

You will like it.

Yum! Epcot F&W offerings! Looks like you guys had some great choices (in two visits!)

With more yummy goodies to come.

Wonderful time spent in MK too.

It was a great morning at MK.

Ok there! One report down and I don't even want to think about how many to go... :rotfl:

You'll catch up...I have faith in you.

This makes my heart very happy! ::yes:: What a wonderful blessing and this must make Mark feel SO good about himself! He is a wonderful person and thank goodness his good deeds and amazing personality did not go unnoticed. :thumbsup2 I am so happy for you both. I am glad that you had a wonderful birthday celebration as well. xo

Thanks, Tracy. It really did make him feel good after the fiasco in June. And he has been so carefree and relaxed since he started...I got my happy go lucky hubby back.

I'm glad you had a nice birthday. That is great about the scratch tickets and Mark's job!

Thanks, Sarah.

Yay for a meet with Mary Poppins since you missed her at breakfast!

Yes, that made me especially happy since she had been sick at breakfast.

You look so excited in the Splash Mountain picture! I am usually one of the people covering their heads in the picture.

I had the camera put in plastic in my bag so I figured I might as well have some fun; plus I knew Mark would hide his head.

That is too bad that the filet wasn't good, but it sounds like there was plenty of other good food to make up for it.

There really was; I can still taste that trout...so good.

Love all your updates! I finally got all caught up!

Thanks, Clare.

Food and Wine looks amazing. I'd love to try that noodle gratin thing, the Polish food, the cronut, the soup, and several of the others!

By the time we were done, we were kicking ourselves for never trying it sooner.

I love love love all your PP pics. Your pic on Splash Mountain, I looked at the pic and said to myself "where are they?" I didn't recognize you and thought Mark was a little kid hiding his head! :rotfl2:

Mark was a "little kid" hiding his head. :rotfl2:

Okay, so I need to know, why doesn't Mary Poppins have PP with her?

It has to do with either Julie Andrews or Ms. Travers. The CM told us Julie Andrews, but I've heard it was Ms. Travers too.

Love your train pics. We ALWAYS forget to ride that. We always say we will and then forget!

Mark NEVER forgets to ride the train.

So glad you had a nice Christmas. What great gifts you got! And, I saw it on FB, but yay about the lottery ticket for your birthday. What a great present. I hope you got to have your dinner.

We didn't end up at Chinn's, but we still had dinner out.

So glad Mark is being kept on at Target and that they'll be flexible with his schedule.

Me too.

Okay, I think I'm caught up! Ready for more!

Oh, I hope you get to see the Disney exhibit today!

Thanks, Clare. And yes we saw the exhibit on Sunday and really enjoyed it.

Hi Kathy
I am still here!

I had no doubt, Linda.

Sorry I haven't posted very often - life has certainly got in the way of DIS time lately

I know the feeling and no worries here.

Loving the updates, you both look so happy ! :-)

Awww...thanks.

Happy New Year Kathy and Mark, I know everyonge of my dear friends were worried , but I am Okay, the smoking quitting is going well , NO real cigs since November 12th. Have cut down on Nicatine strength in the E Cig each week and am down to a#6 already. If I could ever get rid ofthis cold, I am sure my lungs and breathing would be much better but it is ahanger on and while NOT awful is just sooo snuffy , the weathee is not helping either with all the Temp 34 days straight before I have a whole day off . To say I am beat already at day 15::yes:::(:headache::faint:. I n what lkittle time I do have I will be on here !!! Miss you all:hug::hug:

We have missed you too, and I am glad to know you are okay. Good job on the smoking (I quit December 2). You get here when you can...we understand.

Hi Kathy, You know I hardly ever respond even though I so enjoy reading your updates but I just want to say how great it is that they are keeping Mark on at Target. That just makes me like them even more than I do already! Hope 2015 is a wonderful year for the two of you. Elaine

You are very kind, Elaine. I appreciate you reading...you've been a faithful reader for years. We are delighted about Mark as well. 2015 definitely has to be better than 2014. Wishing you and yours a great 2015 as well.

You guys are so cute. :)

Another great update.

Jill in CO

Thank you, Jill. :goodvibes

A belated happy birthday Kathy! Sounds like you had a good day, even if your birthday dinner quite what you wanted. Glad to hear Mark is keeping the position at Target and will still be able to do baseball as well!

It was a good day and Mark keeping his job is just icing on that cake.

We love Splash so much! It's a great ride for the theming, and the awesome drop helps! I live the ride photo, you and Mark look like a couple of kids.

Thanks; I was having a really good time. :lmao:

Why doesn't Mary Poppins have a photographer?!? :confused2:

See above.

F&W looks good, sorry the steak was so bad. That pudding looked goo-ood! I feel like I'd spend a small fortune at F&W; I love to eat!

I stopped keeping a tally of what we spent at F&W. All I know is later this year, I'll be buying the little cards and probably refilling the balance a number of times.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend, and that you were able to go to the exhibit!

We did go to the exhibit and it was really great.

Only 10 pages behind this time... :rolleyes2

Is that all?

Wow... you are meeting random people right and left in MK. You are a celebrity! ::yes::

So that's why we had the empty bus and ferry...I'm a celebrity because you said so.

Love all your adventures... it was probably a relief to bob and weave through the crowds and lines without 3 small kids in tow. :rotfl2:

We actually missed THE kids.

Loving all your Epcot food pics.. Hopefully we will get back to Food & Wine someday.

I hope you do too. I know how hard it will be with Juliana getting older and getting up there with the grades in school.

A few weeks we decided we shouldn't take Juliana out of school anymore. Then the last few days we have been discussing taking her out of school for a few days next January during marathon weekend. We have issues. ::yes::

Yes, we all have issues when it comes to Disney.

Love the giant photo dump -- so fun to scroll through and see MK and F&W! I could totally go for one of those bread puddings right now, YUM! :lmao:

Thanks, Julie. Last night I was drooling over it. Today I came home sick from work and have no appetite at all. :(

Happy New Year!!!

Thank you...and to you.

(And Happy Belated Birthday as well apparently!)

Yes, my mom and dad needed an additional tax deduction at the end of the year...hence here I am.

Wonderful pictures around Splash

Thank you.

:yay: Yay for running into Mary Poppins!

So glad we finally met her.

I am going to try that infamous soup one of these trips.

That soup is out of this world.

Love the updates! Sounds like you guys were just having fun and enjoying the day. That food looks delish - it's gotta be almost lunch-time, right?

We really were, Darla, and that's what it is all about. I hope you had something good for lunch. ;)

Hi Kathy,

Hi Casey.

So glad to hear your birthday was good. $500?! That's awesome! Sorry that Mark got called into work on your birthday, but glad they are going to keep him on! That's great news!

Thanks; yep, $500. It was sweet! :) We are happy too about the job.

Love the pictures of Splash! That's one of my favorite rides for sure!

It's definitely in my top 10.

I'm drooling over your pictures of F&W. Can't wait to go and try that some day!

Oh I hope you do...it's awesome.

How very nice of them to allow Mark to stay on part-time AND not schedule him for weekends so that he can still umpire. Sounds like an awesome crew to work with.

They were very upset when they originally told him they wouldn't be able to, but they were determined to figure it out.

Ahhh, more Food & Wine Festival pictures and I'm looking at them right before lunch time. Happens every time.

It never fails, does it?

Thanks, Karin.

Very excited...especially since I wasn't planning on it.

Congratulations to Mark for getting to keep his job. I'm sure that's a nice bit of relief for both of you!

It really is, Andy; thanks.

:scared1: I can't believe you weren't there on opening day!!!

I forget what we were doing that day. :confused3

Did he win?

Of course; he cheats!

Kind of brings that chess game in Pirates to mind. :lmao::rotfl2:

Dead men tell no tales.

Ok, I'm waiting...

See above.

F&W.... you're killing me. I'd love to try it just once.

You would like the food and alcoholic beverages.

Aw, sad that you didn't get to go to Bob Chin's but it sounds like a lovely birthday and more hours is always good! So glad they found a spot for him after all, yay!

Yes, with three trips this year, I'll take the extra hours and extra pay.

I do not know why Mary Poppins does not have a handler. Is that MP everywhere? I guess she's only in 2 parks but...curious!

I thought the same...she looked like the one we had glimpsed at Epcot.

Bummer about the filet that does not sound lovely at all, glad the trout made up for it.

The trout melted in your mouth.

Happy New Year Kathy! I think I'm all caught up.

Happy New Year Mark.

Love your photos with the characters. You two always look so happy. And you're getting your rides on; also a good thing.

We're at Disney so of course we are happy silly boy. We did get quite a few rides done as well.

I'm glad the cheese soup at Le Cellier is still living up to expectations. If I were there during F&W I think I'd just get that over and over. :thumbsup2

It is still one of my favorite things in all of World Showcase. And we'll definitely be getting more than one in October.

The reason I've heard for Mary (and Terk from Tarzan too) not having a PP photographer is because every official picture taken by Disney would result in a royalty paid to Julie Andrews or Rosie O'Donnell respectively. It's probably also why we've never seen Giselle from Enchanted as a M&G.

Very good! We were told Julie Andrews by the CM, but have heard it is P.L. Travers as well.

Yeah!!!! did you renew or purchase brand new?:confused3

Congrats either way!! :cool1:

Tim, after they extended ours last year, it expired October 15. Since we had no plans of going back this year, we weren't renewing them. Well, since I'm going on two trips and they are 7 and 8 days, it made sense for me to get one (and I have an excuse to always try to sneak in another visit). Mark is only making one trip so he is not getting one. This way I can get the TIW card again too.

Great updates!!! How amazing they are keeping him on.. They just know what an amazing person he is and finally realized they need him!! I am really happy for you guys!!
YAY for the wash and dry coasters! :lmao: 2 of my favorite coasters! best theme!!!

I'm glad they realized how amazing he is. HA HA...wash and dry.

OK you leaved off in how you know about Mary Poppins and not having a PP and NOT come back with an answer? Damn that Key the the Kingdom Tour! She is practically perfect in every way! then again i had to google the answer.. :teacher:

Didn't learn it from the tour, but from the CM (scroll above for the answer).

DELISH food pictures! sorry about the steak! thankfully Ireland was able to bring you back up.

I soon forgot about the steak with the other food we were having.

Hat Pictures make my day...

Glad to oblige friend.

HUGE CONGRATS for you AP!!!

Thank you...very excited to have another one for the third year. :)

So happy to hear Target is keeping him.

Thanks, Scott. And before I forget I will catch up on your TR tomorrow...you are the last one I am behind on.

Nice Splash Mountain pics. I have not ridden it since they put in the lap bars, always afraid they won’t close.

You would be fine with the lap bars!

I have to do Country bears next time, it has been way too long.

I think it was the first time for Mark and I in a couple of years.

Love the Cheddar Cheese Soup.

Me too.

I am caught up again. Yeah me!!!! LOL.

YEAH...and I will get to yours tomorrow...I promise again.

Thanks, Mom V. Hoping to see you at the end of the month.

Glad you had a nice Chistmas/birthday/New Years! Definitely well deserved!

Thank you, Phil. :)

And yeah for the big winnings on the scratch off! That is always fun. Sorry you didn't get your nice dinner in, but Red Lobster isn't a bad consolation

No, Red Lobster was not a bad consolation at all.

Yeah for Target keeping Mark on! Sometimes things do work out for the nice guy! :thumbsup2 Glad it will still work around his baseball weekends as well.

He so deserves it and I am very happy for him.

Here's to a great 2015!

Thank you.

Can some of your winning magic rub off on me? Please???? :flower3:

I'll try.

I read your update last night at work and got half my post written and then called away urgently. Can't even remember what I wrote last night, but I think it had something to do with several of your PP pictures that I enjoyed so much. You and Mark really know how to get some of the best pics. Wasn't there one with Mary P? Loved it!

Thanks, Maryellen. No PP with Mary Poppins, but we did get a picture with her...she was delightful.

Great morning at MK and fun afternoon at Epcot! :thumbsup2

Thanks; it was a great day thus far.

Loved the updates!

Thanks.

Those candied apples had my mouth watering...they look so delicious and unhealthy..but delicious nonetheless

I do like those every once in awhile; they have "apple" so they can't be that unhealthy. ;)

I've always wanted to meet Mary Poppins but she's never been out when we're there :( She's adorable !

I hope you catch her on a future trip; she truly was delightful in every way.

I love how most CM's are so willing to go above and beyond to make guests happy. And they always take such good pictures. Lol

We had some wonderful CM's. And the one with Mary Poppins we ran into twice previously on the trip and we will run into her one more time.

I'm hoping to make it to F&W next year and the cheddar cheese soup will be the first on my list. That's disappointing about the filet minion - I hope it's better next year because it's my favorite.

You must have the soup. We've not been happy with the filet since 2011 (or 12) when we took our oldest son. We much prefer the steaks at Yachtsman.

And happy dance for getting new AP!!

Thank you.

Yes, my 39th again...and thank you for the wishes, Rosie. Yep, a smoker for way too long. Mark does a little bit in electronics, stocks shelves and also plays cashier.

I know we had talked about your dad. It hurts to watch our parents as they get older.

I loved meeting you and Mark last year and could probably spend all day talking baseball with him. Spring training starts soon.

Thanks; we enjoyed meeting you too. We are going to ouor first ever spring training game when we go to Phoenix in March.

AKL is a great resort, absolutely loved it in May although I didn't have nearly
as nice a view.

I won't stay there unless I pay for that view; it is a must for me.

The spot for the Frozen fireworks reminded me of a trip years ago with my kids. That was where the fireworks were held then.

I never knew the Studios had fireworks in the past.

Kona looks very good, I'll have to keep it in mind for a future trip.

One of our all time favorites.

CP will always hold our heart.

Glad you enjoyed Soarin. I am probably the only person in the world that hates that ride. I turn green. I can ride Star Tours and no issues but IMAX and 3D and I get deathly ill. :confused3

See and I get sick on Star Tours, Mission, etc. that's funny how rides effect us each differently.

I don't think I like the Frozen overload at the parks. I like the movie but my DGD's LOVE that movie and watch it in my car. Had to listen to it 2 times last week on a trip and I am so ready to LET IT GO!!!

Frozen stuff isn't bothering me. I loved the movie and the little ones are really happy with it all and they are the ones that count.

Looks like you had some awesome DIS meets. My first real friend on here has become a very good friend and I am fortunate to see him outside of Disney on occasion - ScottNY.

I knew that about you and Scott; it feels like I've known Tim forever and then we all know what happened with Nicki and I.

Food and Wine looks so good but unfortunately I may not get to Disney at all this year. No one to travel with as my DH doesn't really like it as much as I do and my travel buddy has other plans. :(

That's sad; too bad Scott isn't going this year.

I think I told you on FB but I'll say it again that is a wonderful pic of your sons in the baseball bat frame but I love that frame. I need to find one for a pic of my grandson the ball player. He has already been named the number 1 pitcher for his HS team, as a sophomore.

I'll ask Des where she got the frame...if it was something national or what.

OK I am finally caught up. I hope to stay that way now. I took advantage of the frigid cold and have been hibernating. :rotfl2:

The frigid cold has to end. I don't blame you for hibernating.

I came home sick from work today (and think I'll stay home tomorrow) so not quite up to an update. However, here are a few pictures from the Disney Archives Exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry that we FINALLY saw on it's last day here this past Sunday.

And here are some pictures they took of us at the Museum and we paid for (I liked them so I bought them)

And last, but not least, for those of you not friends with me on FB, Andy and Des came back just in time for our arctic freeze on Tuesday (and the snow). Andy bought my birthday gift while he was at Disney. The kid knows his mom's heart:

I will get an update done tomorrow or this weekend when Mark works Saturday and Sunday evening.

I hope your feeling better? Warm thoughts going your way!!! at least it's a bit warmer today..

LOVED the Disney expo at the Museum. I saw it twice... :lmao:

This is a pretty good week to stay home. I hope you feel better soon. My husband is just getting over the flu.

I'm glad you got over to the museum to see the exhibit. The weather went downhill from Sunday so your timing was good. ::yes::

Your pictures turned out really nice. I love the Disney outfits you are wearing. I had a Tinker Bell shirt on the day we went. Did you get a chance to take the Animation class?

Hi Kathy! I am so behind on your TR, I just finished 9/22.
But I loved seeing all of your pictures of the animals from AKL. And I love the picture of you and Mark meeting Pluto at Epcot.
Food and Wine festival is my favorite thing at Epcot. We went for the first time last year, and ate sooo much!
Also, I'm so jealous y'all met Pooh and Tigger, we didn't get a chance to meet them this trip.

I have never been to Starring Rolls, but I'm so tempted to go because all of their pastrys and cupcakes they have.
I love your Minnie Mouse tank top that you wore on HS day, it's adorable.
Your room at the Boardwalk is so great, and with a great view!
Last thing, I was so tempted to buy the Beauty and the Beast plates at the Co-Op too, they were so cute.

I'm excited to finish reading!!

I'm in the same boat Kathy, sick, sick, sick. But I'd rather have it now than at the end of the month, so I'll deal.

Oh my, I so wish we would get, heck, anything Disney to come to town. I took a day off work a couple years ago just because a Disney cruise ship came into port. I would love to see something like the Archives exhibit. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Oh my that Lumiere is fantastic!!! Now I want one, lol.

I hope you are starting to feel better, Kathy!

I'm so glad you got to see the Disney exhibit in the nick of time. It just wouldn't have been right if you two had missed it! But given the fall/winter you have had, perfectly understandable.

::yes::

Glenn, that's a Colts jersey Alisha is wearing. So unless they both get to Super Bowl, they are safe for now.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oooh, my bad. Well, in my defense, without seeing a logo on it, it looks just like a Cowboys jersey. Anyway, I'm glad the peace is being kept for now.

I just skimmed a buuuunch of chapters....so good to see Kidani Village :woohoo: and the Boardwalk :yay:. I have reservations for 6 nights at the Boardwalk in June! :cool1: And great to see that you got to meet up with Cynthia/Jeff and Tim/Mel and kids.

Kathy, I'm glad you had a chance to see the exhibit before they packed it all in. Looks like something that would have been really cool to take some time and take it all in.

Andy did quite a nice job on your birthday present... :thumbsup2

And Glenn, that is a Reggie Wayne jersey. Alisha likes the right team. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad again that you got to see the Disney exhibit at MSI! Great exhibit for sure.

And Andy sure picked a good birthday gift for you!

Sorry you are sick. Feel better soon! At least you aren't missing anything outside.

That exhibit looks so neat. I wonder if it will ever make it's way to Toledo.

Love the birthday gift!!!!! That is so cool!
