My best friend's doctor called her at 8:30 last night to let her know that her biopsies came back good - - - NO CANCER!!

...OMG, that is AWESOME NEWS!!

To me, that is an excellent, caring doctor!! She told my friend that she was going out-of-town for the weekend and had just gotten the results and wanted to call her before she left town.

She is the same surgeon that did the out-patient procedure that DH had last month and we really liked her then!

...and now, for MORE good news.....my mom is arrivng later this morning from Puerto Rico....we haven't seen her in 1-1/2 years....

It is so pretty here today and we are supposed to have an absolutely beautiful weekend! This after a week of rain!! So, I'm going to get some things done around the house and then we are going to head out to the lake!

And it's so nice that she (we ) can now put it out of our minds and enjoy the weekend. She feels like her life has been handed back to her!

It is so pretty here today and we are supposed to have an absolutely beautiful weekend! This after a week of rain!! So, I'm going to get some things done around the house and then we are going to head out to the lake!

...sounds like a plan....actually, it is really beautiful here too, this morning...I have all the windows open and a slight breeze is coming in...last night, it POURED, which is great, because I don't have to water my garden...

...she will be here till the 1st week of July....I can't believe it's already almost nine months since she had knee surgery and now she is really out-and-about...
