What to Avoid With a Toddler

My daughter will be 19 months when we go to Disney next month. I've been doing my planning, and I'm debating if Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land will be too long for her to sit still. She's pretty good at sitting patiently, but she won't understand what is happening in either ride and I know both are on the longer side. The scenes in Spaceship Earth might be enough to keep her attention, but if there's not singing she tends to lose interest pretty quickly. I'm curious what other parents have found when taking toddlers on these rides. Also, if there are other rides people have found their toddlers tend to not do great on. And what are some tactics to distract a toddler who starts to meltdown on a ride?

We took DGD (and her parents!) last year when she was 20 months old, so I just asked DD. She says Living with the Land was fine - plenty for DGD to look at, it held her attention, and she enjoyed it. Also, they felt they could talk to her if need be during the ride. They didn’t try Spaceship Earth because it’s so long, and DD says she’d feel they needed to be quiet throughout, plus she didn’t think DGD would like going backwards on the way down.

Does the toddler have any fears?

When my kids were little they were scared of thunder. So we avoided attractions like Tiki Room, Living with the Land, etc.

Depends on the kid. My sister loved the stretching room as a toddler.
True. My older one liked it when she was a toddler which is why I didn't even think about it with the younger one but then my younger one hated it so much he freaked out on every other dark ride after for the rest of the trip and basically my husband and I took turns going on rides with our older kid
