Alison - How's Fran doing?

Yesterday was kind of a bad day. Before going to bed Saturday night I emailed the Doctor that she was having severe pain, so she called the next morning and set up a visit for later that morning. The wound looked OK, she changed the dressing and prescribed Fran some instant acting morphine. She's doing a little better now and is not as cranky and screaming so much.

I remember you saying that you watch The Next Food Network Star, who are you rooting for to win? We're just about to find out who was eliminated this week.

I watch a lot of shows on the network too ....I'm still pulling for Aarti I like her alot but Brad seemed to shine tonight at ole' blue eyes estate...not really sure now..what about you.

Well I was completely satistied with the one they booted last night! She got on my nerves. I like Aarti, but I can't see her as having a premise for a show. They really want an Indian I think, this is the second year there has been a gal with that premise. I like Brad, I also like kooky guy, Tom! That's it, and sort of liked Aria, but she became annoying in the last couple weeks. I don't like the Italian Girl or Herb, so I'll be happy when they go!

Since the year Big Daddy won, there really hasn't been anyone who I really liked. I've been watching it since the first one and I also watch a lot of other shows on the Food Network.

What channel will the new GR show be on? I used to LOVE Kitchen Nightmares.

Fran is doing OK, her now increased dose of Morphine is certainly keeping her calm. I'm doing fine. I'm just doing everything around here, I think I need another massage, just have to find a new place.

Tomorrow, I actually have to do work, meet with Handymen to see about costs for painting and rehabbin apartments.

MasterChef started in the UK and the Aussie version is a SMASH HIT! Even the Brits are thinking of tweaking their version along the lines of the Aussie version. I would guess that the US will be implementing the Aussie version....

Fox has announced Masterchef, a new culinary competition series that will feature Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares star Gordon Ramsay, will premiere Thursday, July 29 at 9PM ET/PT.

I love alot of shows from the UK and I'm sure whichever version its based on it will be a hit here too....but I am biased ....you know how I feel
