I still say you should get a poking stick and poke him with it until he books his airfare

He's sooooo 'nice, gentle and peaceful' that I couldn't poke him with a stick.

We've been together for a long time....nagging is something that I do very well but he doesn't cope with and then he switches off. It took me quite a while to learn not to nag. It's much better this way and at the end of the day, I know I'm still going, irrespective of the airfares.

That's good that you know you're going... I'd just be worried about the airfare I'm worried about mine and I'm not even crossing international borders! I'm hoping Southwest will have a Ding fare for my dates, though. That would be fabulous.

I try not to nag my dad about things... I just bake cake or cookies and then talk to him about whatever while he's eating it. Doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.

Yeah...if it were all 3 of us going, it would mean that this was a holiday and I would have total control of purchasing airfares.

But this trip is for DH's work; so his work controls the airfare. They are paying for his airfare, the accommodation, his conference entry and possibly his food/dinner as breakfast and lunch is included in the conference.

So, we are going to be out of pocket for me - airfare and food. We'll have to buy park tickets for me; I think he'll have to buy park tickets for himself and then MNSSHP tickets.

It will work out.

Hi! I'm here too! I was thinking about my PTR and got out pics from our 1st trip to WDW, boy were we skinny and young! I also got out my obsessive book of planning. When I finally launch it you all will have a good laugh!

So, I'm planning my photo scavenger hunt food shots today.

I still need to get a shot of trifle (just made some jelly) and of club sandwich. I'm going to need to pop out to find some of those toothpick things!! Do you know it's been hard to find those in the supermarkets? I'm going to have to head to a party shop to see if they have them.

Also need to google club sandwich to make sure I have all the necessary ingredients to make one!

No prizes for guessing what I'm having for lunch today...

okay. Just googled. I have ham; so I'll be making a ham club. I don't have lettuce; but I have spinach. Depending on where I go, I may get some lettuce.
I have bacon, tomato and mayo...and bread.

Better get that decorative toothpick now.

Too bad I can't help you, I bought a box of 1000 in 2005 when we were hosting a conference and I made giant sandwiches so I needed quite a few but not 1000, I have this huge box of them lying around. Every time I make a sandwich for Fran I put them in it and cut it in half and give her a pickle so she's eating from "Alison's Deli"!
