Lunch over....and it was yum.

Where is that transporter when you need it? Those toothpicks would have been handy...

I'll load up my shots and post some for you.popcorn::

I'm debating between these two shots.....

Which one do you prefer?

Great! Because after I posted and took a look, I decided that I like the first one too. :thumbsup2

The food pops out more in the first one.

That, too :)

Also, the angle on the second one kinda makes the food look plopped there, like there was no attempt at presentation.

I can't tell the difference. Thank god we just finished dinner and I'm stuffed!

It's strange isn't it....because all I did was drop the camera a little lower in the second shot. I didn't touch the food at all...I guess this is what learning is all about. Take lots of shots with slight differences and see what happens to the photos.

Thanks.

I'll be heading out shortly. Grocery shopping with DH. We're dropping the son off for a sleepover at my mom's tonight. All his cousins will be there and she's going to take care of 5 of them!

Yes, it was very tasty...but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it as a regular meal in my repertoir yet.

I might try it with turkey or chicken next time. I was thinking of flaking cold roast chicken and adding avocado with the mayo for the top layer.

Now, if that is as good as I think it could be, then I might keep it in as a regular. Might drop the bacon then...

As far as I know the "traditional" club is turkey and bacon and this is what I love about Andrew Sutton the Chef at Napa Rose. He says every country has their "fat", France it is butter, Italy it is Olive Oil, America, it's Bacon!

Your club looked very tasty. I have lots of frozen ham and turkey becuase Fran is into "big meat", when it goes on sale for $.88 per pound she has me go buy three or four to put in the freezer. Once I cook them I freeze them in 1/4 lb baggies sliced or in chunks. I bought like 5-6 Prime Ribs when they were $3.99 or less per pound, so I'm going to make one this weekend when it thaws. It was like $20 (which we'll get about 7-10 meals) when regular price it would have been like $53.

Right now we have so many leftovers in the fridge we shouldn't even cook for the next three days!

Heh, my mom stocks up like that, too. We have so much chicken and ground beef in the freezer... They went out of town for the weekend, so tomorrow I'm going to make tacos and bring them to work :)
