It's actually a lot better, thanks for asking :) The antibiotics killed the infection, so it doesn't hurt or anything anymore and the swelling has almost disappeared. I'm trying to figure out what to have for dinner, since I have to leave for work in a little over an hour.

Hi Alison Hi Dana How is Fran How is the tooth holding up I saw you had to reschedule I figured the conversation may go to food so thought I would start it off.....

Hello...Fran is doing fine. She is kickin it in the other apartment because our Japanese "houseboy" was supposed to use the "water vacuum" (it somehow loses it's hilarity when you don't hear him say in in his broken English! :lmao: But alas the carpet cleaner is broken. I don't mean that in a racist way, he's a friend and has been helping me around the house for probably ten years now.

How are you? Been busy in the yard?

Oh the conversation must have been funny....we're doing alright just :happytv: and doing this now. Have the a/c off now for the first time in about a month, will have to turn it on later again but at least I can pretend we're saving money

Oh the conversation must have been funny....

Over the past 10 years, we've learned to communicate...like if he doesn't need to change the bed linens the phrase is: "#1 bed is OK", if he's doing the litter boxes, he'll ask, "Scoop the cat sand?" Every once in a while we get stuck, like today he asked "Do you have a carpet brush?" :confused3 I had no idea what he was talking about. He does say some pretty funny things, though.

:lmao: my # 1 bed is looking good in about an hr I scooped the cat sand at 6 pm and I don't know what the hell the carpet brush is either :rotfl:

I do read :) Sometimes I just don't have anything to contribute to the conversation, so I just post a smiley or something :)

I know :teeth: I can't wait to meet you either :tigger: Eleven weeks!

And no, no one was late to work today. They hired someone to replace the girl who left from day shift, but she doesn't start until next week and then they still need to staff three people other than her during the day because she'll be training, so these next two weeks will be rather hectic at work.

I also found out that the women who work the day shift on the days that I work haven't been giving me the correct information. For example, one of our residents moved out on Saturday. NO ONE told Adriana or me until today. :headache: This DOES affect my job, so this is something I have to complain about to our boss.

I can't wait, either :) It's going to be such a good time :tigger:

But yeah, this is something that causes me to not be able to do my job properly. It's completely ridiculous that people keep doing things like this.

well hang in there you're certainly not the 1st person to have a job environment like that I would come in 15 mins early to relieve the 4-12 so they could tell me whatever...depending on who I relieved I could be fixing thir paperwork and running the info that was left over from the shift well into 2 or 3 am then catch you know what from the day shift when I left anything undone..mind you 90 % of the time they would come n late then I would have to push my "report" on them because they were too busy planning where to get breakfast or whatever..I would leave like 25 minutes late all the time..I couldn't get them back if I wanted to because I never relieved them...LOL...still the money....whew wish I had it down here!

Oh, believe me, I know. Aside from the cattiness and the lack of communication, I love my job. I'm like you, I'm ALWAYS early. Our old boss (she left when they wouldn't accomodate the schedule she wanted) joked that you could set your watch by me because I was almost always here by 6:30, and always here by 6:45. I've been late ONCE, and that was because the train stopped for twenty minutes for some reason.

But yeah, that sounds about like what happens here, minus the paperwork.

Bad thing about people like us though is you get there on time they act like you're late becuase we spoil them..then when we have a good reason to actually be late its like its the end of the world! Ah the memories :rotfl:

okay that's it I need sleep ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz later gator

Well, they're well aware that I don't have to be there that early and that I choose to come in that early :) I just do it because of the public transit situation, so that I KNOW I'm not late, you know? So I can take my time. I'd rather do that than hurry. I've only been late once, though, in the nine months since we opened.

Sleep well! :grouphug:

Good Night Ruthie!

All this Drama makes me glad that I don't have my Day Job more. Property management sucks, but not as bad as clocking in for "the man".
