Okay I got the "officail" go ahead to plan my Feb 2010 trip...

I have been bummed watching others plan and DH said sooooooo
Start planning ours but Can we make it a LONGER TRIP this time??

Longer I can do

I am thinking a split trip a few days at the Swan or Dolphin and than the rest of the trip in a vacation home....

I am so tired! After about three weeks of not working 40 hours I'm back to my regular 40 this week and I'm having a hard time getting back into the groove of things. Last night I went to bed at 8:30 and I struggled to get out of bed at 7 this morning! (I'm usually up by 5:30!)

We got snow overnight and we're supposed to get another 2-5" today. Kids have a school snowday already!

Our schools are getting hit hard this coming year. They are closing 5 schools next year with more come.

Than yesterday the State of Florida says they are 100 billion in the hole and they think the schools are going to take the biggest hit.

Gee where is all the lotto money going that is supposed to be for schools.

Stupid voters two years go voted for a paid VPK program. How in the heck did they think we were going to pay for that?

I am so upset with this situation and the way people think things are great until all of a sudden someone has to pay for the stuff they vote into place.

Think this crap thru before you make major decisions.

I know the answer. They just took away the School Budget line item and replaced it with Lotto money. So the schools are NOT getting any extra like it was originally stated.

It was a slight of hand trick on the voters. Oh and all the billboards keep telling us 19 billion to the schools. Oh yeah, than why in the heck is our school board 40 million in the hole and they are going to close schools first and than get rid of school programs?
