That really is sad. Wonder why parents don't take more interesting in their childrens schooling?

Our Back to School night is REQUIRED! You don't show up you get a warning. It is part of our REQUIRED Monthly PTA meetings. 3 Warnings and the parents and student get called into the talk about issues.

...but, you can be sure that WE are the first ones to get blamed if something is going worng with their education, like a bad grade on their report card....

Which is a crock of crap. If they took the time to show up for things going on at school they would know how their kids were doing in school BEFORE the report cards come home.

We also have manatory Parent Teacher Conferences before the reports come out. I know exactly what is going on with my DD and I know what grades she will have as of right now. If there was a problem she has 4 weeks before the reports come home to bring up any problems. So there is no excuse on who's fault it is.
