Hey guys, just a quick update, our neighbor called my mom last night and told her that the power company had come out to fix the lights, but their Cherry picker wouldn't go up! WE WERE SO CLOSE!! so they said they will have to come out today now, which I really hope will be 1st thing this morning. Hopefully we'll have lights soon

...well, I wanted to update you guys on my mom....she was having knee replacement surgery today, but she is in Puerto Rico and, unfortunately neither I nor my sister can take off from school, expecially in the beginning of the school year....long story short, her cousin called me a little while ago and told me she was still in 'Recovery', so, I guess it's good that there was no 'bad' news - please keep her in your prayers for a quick and painless recovery......now, I'm not sure if I had mentioned this, but my DH said that, instead of getting each other a 25th anniversary gift, we will go on a 'mini- vaca', like a 3-day weekend vaca...soooo, we are probably going to WDW!! It was either that or visiting my mom, but since the flight is fairly long and we only have a 3-day weekend it makes more sense going to WDW, since it's closer to us.....

Still no lights I just checked online and it says 93% of our zip code is without power! 93%!! that's craziness!!

I sent an email to Dreams for a "no obligation quote." I got an email back from them today - it is exactly to the penny what I can reserve it for myself on the DCL website. So why use a travel agent? Am I missing something here?
