It is almost 2 a.m.! Would you believe I didn't home from work until 11:30 p.m.! What a day! It was a total day from you-know-where at work, finally slowed down around 5, then I had to play catch-up, then I had to make sure everything was done so that I could go on vacation. But I am officially on vacation now!!! I don't go back until August 4th!

And one good thing about working late - with the extra time I put in Thursday and yesterday I saved one paid vacation day!

Yikes.....the summer is flying by


I'm off Monday - Wednesday next week. Me and DW are heading down to the Jersey shore.

Well....

Checked in on SIL with the cancer and whole ordeal she had at my house on the 4th!

She went back to her cancer doctor-they did another body scan-Bad News again

her cancer is gone crazy!!!

So sorry to hear this Kim.

I was really hoping that maybe with the ordeal she went through and the surgery maybe she'd get some good news out of it.

It's in her pelvic bone and back in her lungs all over-and she has decided not to do any more chemo-so the end is upon us-and we're all so sad

She's only 42! We're going to go see her next week-her daughter will be 7-so we're having a nice party with all the family-We're going to keep the good time rolling as long as we can for her!!!

So sorry to be so down-but it's been a hard past 24hrs with this new news-This is news I knew was coming-but DH's family was still in denial that it was so close

I'm surprised my boys haven't said anything about going to see it. But then again they have been a little preoccupied with the outing we're going on today.

in-laws did not get the house.. well I should say they didn't "take" it. The deal that is. He came back w/2000 over their price, 2000 under his.. but they wouldn't budge

We are so bummed!!!

Today is dh's 40th b-day so we went and saw Wall-E..... I enjoyed it. (actually cried 3 times! )

He's handling it OK-sad of course -since I have mentioned that I was so worried that the end was coming sooner than we thought

although we all pray for her to live a nice long life-right now her life is full of pain and more pain she can barely get out of bed-if she just wasn't in such pain, all of this would be a little easier to take in
