Just checked in on the ignorami thread. They haven't seen Kim either....and no one has contact details for her. Guess we're in the dark....at least on the Dis.

Okay....just catching up on the news...

The Estate Sale company found a buyer for her Dad's boat!

Hope you got a good price!

I know now He's not sure if he can make it tomorrow (I invited him to the group dinner thing I go to every other Wednesday), so if he can't, we'll reschedule and do something then. He seems really interested, though!

I kinda need someone to marry first! But if I ever do get married, it'll be a Disney wedding

How's work going? Are they going to extend your contract?

They're a very disorganised company for one so big.....
It seems I'm likely to just have the admin show up with a new contract to sign. I've seen it happen a few times.
Especially seeing as one of the guys just left....seriously suddenly....he got a better offer me thinks. So I think they are going to have to reorganise and reallocate resourcing.

Work is certainly busy. MASSIVE all day meeting today between project heads.

So....we'll see?

Work's going great. We finally hit that purple patch in the project and are in deployment phase now. We should be finished by end August. I'm there till late September and then I head back to my home office and work out where to next.

Catching up with an old client on Friday for lunch. He called up out of the blue...it could just be a catch up; or he might have something in the off-ing. I'm hoping it's just a catch up....with something in the off-ing late September . He's a really nice guy; even if he works for that big Telco.

Didn't you see my post yesterday that someone on the AKL Lite thread found her home number and spoke with her a couple days ago? She is fine, but real life has gotten in the way with family issues and other things.

Well I just got back from her father's place. They guy has the boat hooked up to his truck and Fran went to meet him at the auto club to transfer the title. No money has exchanged hands at this point so he could pretty much run off with the boat.

Hopefully he's honorable! He did have a license plate frame that said he's a Marine.
