I posted this on another thread, but will relay my experience here.
I was in WDW in June and booked a bounce-back room only for next April. I have an AP, my husband does not. My daughter also booked a couple of rooms, so we are traveling with two other families (I have my own reservation). The other parties (also room-only) want to add the DDP, so I was curious how (if) that would work with our BB RO and with my AP. I called and here is my experience:
I am able to change my Room-Only bounce back to a "ticket-less" package with the dining plan, no ticket for me (AP), was told I can easily purchase a 5-day hopper ticket separately for my husband. The original room-only reservation would need to be cancelled, and my one-night deposit refunded, and the reservation re-booked as a package with a new confirmation number and $200 deposit. I AM ABLE to keep the awesome bounce-back rate with the new reservation. The CM "Cyrus" (who was AMAZING and super knowledgeable and confident), said that once I reserved the bounce back my rate is "locked-in" and I can modify it however I need to. It did not matter that I was out of the 7-day period.
So, essentially, I am able to do everything I want to do! Unfortunately, I was not ready to pull the trigger as the call was for information only, and I need to coordinate with 2 other families, but I really wanted to just in case the next CM was not as helpful...
Last night was able to book 3 rooms during the November and December season without interruption. Booking the fourth room brought up a pop up to speak with a live agent. Is there a limit to the number of rooms booked at the bounceback rate?
From the FAQ in the first post. Please let me know if you learn otherwise, as things do change:Is there a limit to the number of rooms booked at the bounceback rate?
Maybe call and ask now if you can remove the park hopper tickets and then if you need them, add them later? You may pay a little more if the price goes up, but it might be worth it? Or ask the CM if you can do the above mentioned scenario, and get the CM's name - just in case!Quick question.
Currently I have a BB booked next August for 4 people with 2 day park hoppers.
My parents have a couple days left on a non expiration date ticket but they are still iffy about going.
If they drop out my sister and I would want to just keep the 2 day park hopper.
But if they don't drop out I would like to remove the tickets and purchase separately.
Is that something I can do and still retain the room rate discount?
This is for August 2026.
Say in June 2026 my parents decide okay yes we are definitely going.
Am I going to be able to modify my current BB booking to remove the tickets so we can purchase them separately?
Yes, you can remove the park hopper tickets. I did it last summer (summer 2024) when Disney released the 4-Park Magic Ticket. Saved us a huge amount. The bounceback package can be a ticketless package. You can also make changes to the number of days, remove PH feature, and add days. You don't have to do this now, just make sure to make any changes before your 30-day mark which is when you will need to pay off the balance.Quick question.

Not at all, I tried to get a bounceback for CL back in March 2025 for March 2026 and my agent told me there were no bouncebacks at YC/BC available only garden rooms at BWI which I did not want. So I had to settle for Regular WV at YC for March 2026. Once the window opens for December 2026 I will get a CL at YC for regular pricing and cancel my bounceback. They are really hard to get with bouncebacks.Has anyone had any luck finding club level room discounts with the Bounceback offer for March 2026? I have been looking (mostly WL, BC, BWI, GF, YC) since the offer became available with no luck .
No, you cannot get free dining for everyone with a discounted room rate, at least not currently. Free dining is normally offered for full price room and park ticket packages (may have to be hopper tickets???).Are there any free dining offers with the current bounce backs?

Yes, this has been my experience for 2026. I've been looking for a CL room for July 2026 with no success. July and first half of August have recently been very soft periods for room bookings before they pick up for party season. I had a GF CL room for July 2025 that I booked in July 2024, but I cancelled that reservation. Not at all, I tried to get a bounceback for CL back in March 2025 for March 2026 and my agent told me there were no bouncebacks at YC/BC available only garden rooms at BWI which I did not want. I have all the offers (current and historical) listed in the first post. The last time FD was offered as a bounceback was for 2019 stays. Are there any free dining offers with the current bounce backs?
