Hello Queenie. Have you been let out for good behaviour?

King Tut was very sumptuous. It was a good move to wait a couple of months for all the bruhaha to die down AND to hit the museum right on opening. There was 10 rooms of displays...none of them were chockerblock full of items; and on average I would say that there were about 10-15 items to look at.
Crowd control was pretty decent. They let about 75 people in at a time in 10 minute intervals. So, by the time I got to room 6, where all the golden items that were found as part of the burial chamber were, there would have been no more than 10 of us looking at items at a time.
I didn't feel rushed; and I was in there for about an hour.

The coordinator of the project has been down at the Melbourne office (poor her) and I thought it was just a couple days but she's been there since Monday. Been curious if it's to do with the airport opening and closing regularly but I'm not sure.
To say she sounds even more stressed on the phone than usual is putting it mildly :lmao:

Glad you enjoyed the exhibit. There was no point rushing in....the stuff ain't changing :rotfl:

Unless someone brought the tablet from NY over....... :scratchin

Any chance of your contract being extended? I'm going to be finishing up mid September.

not sure. We're busy and they're hiring others (although not all same role) and I'm doing the stuff they need.
Just depends on what happens after this stage of the project.
It's quite a 'clicky' office so I haven't really made friends beyond those in my specific project.

I think things are good looking....but there is such a hierarchy I'm really not sure who decides actually...lol

I'm pretty tired...didn't sleep well last night (one cat chucked up, the other scratched at the door about 3 times, DH tossed and turned). So, I'm actually going to bed early tonight.

I'm in second place so far for this week....who would've thunked with that old P&S picture?

Actually we don't consider this a long drive. To the Bay Area is a long drive. Four hours or less is OK. I just got back from the vet with my kitty. Got to give her meds and feed the herd, then toss a few things in the suitcase, pack a cooler and we're on the way.
