We really need to plan a trip where you and I are in DLR with Alison. :thumbsup2

What year shall we aim for?

That would be so totally cool! Should we get one of the Grand Villas at the VGC?

Yikes! Maybe not, I just checked the points charts and they are 106 to 133 per night around Thanksgiving. I only have 290 points total!!!!

I say 2013 :)

By the by, you guys know that if I ever get to have my dream Disney wedding, you two are totally invited? :lmao:

Keep me posted on the time of year, we're planned through May 2012 so far, so this is perfect timing for 2013. That's also one of our years that the folks have Thanksgiving with us. We alternate Xmas and Thanksgiving with my sister's family since they can't travel and Fran can't go to the cold weather.

When Fran and I got married two years ago, I looked into a DLR wedding. They were offering them to same sex couples (and I think they still do) but by my calculations the wedding alone would have cost $25,000. We might have spent that much on the whole thing including dress, rings, tuxedos and other incidentals, but I doubt that we even spent that much. Even with my Disney obsession, I couldn't see spending that kind of money.

However, our invitations, cake toppers and who knows what else were all Disney!

Photobucket is being very flakey....but I hope this works.

I love Vegemite.

I'm flexible :) Whenever you guys want to do it is fine with me :)

Yeah, I think the minimum expenditure at WDW for a Wishes wedding is $10-12k, so that's doable. Considering that the average Chicago wedding costs between $25 and $30k, I'd rather take that money and spend it in WDW and have the wedding of my dreams. :teeth:

Sugar glider...I don't have...but this is a flying fox...

Look close...there are hundreds of them in the trees..

I also have a Rodent in the Wild....the Possum....which I will have to load up later. Photobucket is very flaky!

What time of year is good for a GV at VGC? I'm flexible.

I think that if you went to the wedding planners section for WDW that people are posting how much they are spending at the World....

I like your photos. Especially the koala. They are so cute. And I know not to wake them up.
Gracias ....

I'm going to have to log off now. Have a guitar class to go to...then DS to pick up....and then tennis lesson. Sadly, I'll only be free again and home at twilight zone time.

Have a good day all....

Two days down in the salt mines for me; so I'll be doing night shift on the Dis.

Alison - let us know when a good time is for DLR...I'm sure Firefly and I will try and work around it. :thumbsup2

Ooh, I could kill for that bacon with farm fresh eggs. That is one of the nice things about living in Sonoma County, fresh eggs. I normally buy mine from Skippy's Restaurant Supply it is located in Petaluma,Ca. And they have happy hens. Just like we have happy cows too.

Yup we have happy cows

OK... I am getting the feeling that I am not going to be receiving an invitation for the wedding. :( Oh welll.....

If you are really interested in getting married, you will. I am certain. It is just a matter of timing. And my vote is still for Disneyland for your wedding. :)
