Wow...little disturbed at the moment.
Just found out our optometrist died in a freak snorkelling accident. Drowned
You only know your optometrist 'so' well...we weren't dear friends...but we'd been going to her for many many years. I'm really going to miss her. She really helped my brother getting him the right prescription.
So not only is she sadly missed as a wonderful and kind woman...but she is a loss to the industry.
She was only in her early 60s? at most.

Not sure why we only found out now given it happened in April. However, the way we found out was that we had appointments for June.
