Does it really matter what someone posts?

In the end no matter what you type or paste in, will be the last post.

So the TV is on and has been whilst I've been cleaning.

There is an '80s fantasy movie on called Krull. Anyone else seen it?

No never heard of it. I leave tv on for noise. I really dont pay much attention. Do you know what it is about?

I certainly have not. Perhaps it is finally going from video to tv, but only in Oz.

From wikipedia.

The number 111 is sometimes called "a Nelson" after Admiral Nelson, who allegedly only had "One Eye, One Arm, One Leg" near the end of his life. (Which is in fact incorrect - Nelson never lost a leg.)

It is particularly known as a score in cricket. A score of 111 or multiples thereof (222 = "double nelson", 333 = "triple nelson" and so on) is considered unlucky by some in English cricket: most famously by the international umpire David Shepherd, who had a whole retinue of peculiar mannerisms - hops, shuffles, jiggles and so on - that he would indulge in if the score was ever a "Nelson" multiple. Particularly if the number of wickets also matched - 111/1, 222/2 etc.

Very interesting. Thank for helping me learn something new everyday.

I think Krull was produced by Pinewood Studios.

What is interesting is that there were two actors there that looked very familiar.....

Liam Neeson
Robbie Coltrane

I never realised they were in this movie.

I never realized that either.

We can always move to the CB and start a discussion thread there...

I was thinking about something like that...calling it "Let's chat till the moderators shut us down, and let's see who was talking when they do...." and then perhaps suggest that proper etiquette would dictate that you do not become a fillibuster, wait for someone else to speak before you run on at the mouth. Of course if you had something monumental to say and no one had replied to your earlier post, there could always be an exception. :rolleyes1

83 bottles of beer on the wall. 83 bottles of beer. Take one down and pass it around.........

Well, you could always start up a thread...or we could just continue the old fogies...which seems to have run out of steam.

Part of the reason this thread doesn't die out like that is because there is still an underlying game to get to LAST.

And the newbies are just eager beavers....plus Queenie and I have been running a night shift.

I'm just happy to see how it goes in the next LTP game...

You know....I know there was another thread on the games board that went past page 358 before the mods shut it down. It certainly didn't run through the pages as fast as we're doing....:lmao:

They have probably just relaxed about it. I dont know what effert it takes to keep checking or how they do it. Maybe they are overwhelmed with keeping up.
