There's so much that I couldn't eat it if we had dinner for the next two nights! Someone who is hungry on the streets could possibly eat it, althought their stomach is probably so small that they could not finish it. But I would feel better giving it to someone needing it. If I can't find anyone, then I'll throw it away.
Don't know if you'll read this before you go but you still have a rental car right?? :confused3
Could ask the people at the depot when you hand the car in.
We've had left over water bottles and stuff when we hand in a car and the staff have been appreciative.
Now this has always been packaged goods rather than 'made' but just a final thought on the topic... :rolleyes1

Anyways, going to bed, for those of you hell bent on reaching 250, be advised, the one who hits page 250 is entrusted with starting the new thread. If a new thread is not started when we read 250 and the link posted in the old thread we risk the loss of members. Please be sure that if you do hit the 250 mark that you start the new thread.

Also be sure you include the pertinent information in the initial post as PIO did when she created this thread, ie directions on how the game is played and the other information.

I am going to bed, too tired to deal with end of thread issues, but please do not push the thread into closure without ensuring that we have a new home!
We'll be good....promise

That's not entirely the reason...the reason is more to do with a proactive government in DC.
In Paris during winter (and a European winter is nasty) we found about 20 homeless in sleeping bags at the metro station near where we were staying...and it isn't a huge station.

In LA they have shelters too, but because of the climate, the people Alison sees at the off ramps, probably sleep under the overpass 100 feet away. They don't need to be indoors.

DC certainly contains the problems.

A great example of this is Anaheim. Drive though LA and look at the sidewalks. Drive around Disneyland and it's starkly different. They move those people out of the resort district.

Like with what happened to me in Vegas, that didn't happy in front of Ceasar's Palace, that happened north of Circus Circus. That is where things start to get loose in Vegas.
