What's an FOAD? I googled it and I can't say on the Dis what it came up as I've worked for Disney in the past, I just don't know what my rehire status is. I worked in housekeeping and custodial (Boardwalk and MK, respectively), and applied for housekeeping.

I'd certainly hope so, but I also have nothing in savings, so... Yeah. I don't even know how much a flight to Hawaii would cost, let alone where I'd live if I was offered the job.

With experience with Disney, if your work record is clean, why wouldn't you be a top choice?

DisneyFireFly...so sorry about your job situation. I know it's tough out there. It'll be tough finding a way to go to Hawaii if you get it but it would be a great opportunity.

I've been unemployed basically since October. Had a fleeting job at a firm for a few weeks in December that turned out to not suit on either side....although getting fired on the 23rd December isn't ideal

I've a dehydrated disc in my lumbar spine caused by an injury in school but thankfully it behaves most of the time. The pain is hard to describe though...I do sympathise.

skiingfast...how about I go for causing an international incident and point out that there isn't much REAL coffee in the US. The only coffee there I drink is from Starbucks or Seattle's best. The rest is undrinkable.
So I know why one would go for the Diet Coke...
I'm a Coke Zero gal though when I'm looking for cola. Which isn't often.

As for me....feeling a bit better. Was awake until 3am but then fell asleep due to sheer exhaustion for about 5 hours.
As for additional events...
‎2 accidents outside the house so far today. One took out a signpost. One ended up in the safety barrier. Yep guys...it's RAINING. Perhaps taking the S bend too fast isn't a good idea...

It usually takes a good week . The one before this was like 3 weeks. As long as people are ok.

Before anyone thinks I'm morbid...I am a bit...but noone was seriously hurt in the RTAs. Just car damage requiring tows. Driver error
They're the norm around here because we live in an S bend people speed around. When you hear skidding you wait for the bang.
Most don't result in injury...usually just shock at worst.

Wish people would learn to drive at Last...
