Before anyone thinks I'm morbid...I am a bit...but noone was seriously hurt in the RTAs. Just car damage requiring tows. Driver error
They're the norm around here because we live in an S bend people speed around. When you hear skidding you wait for the bang.
Most don't result in injury...usually just shock at worst.

Wish people would learn to drive at Last...

I saw something rare outside when eating dinner too.

2 calf moose. Twins about 1yo. Their mom died last fall, hit by a car. It was nice to see they made it through the winter because it has had a lot of snow which burries the food sources.

Then they got up and left, a couple minutes later a cow and calf walked by. calf about 2yo so she'll be on her own this summer.

And for some odd reason 3 hawks roosting in the trees.

Like I said that was rare. One hawk no big deal. Solo moose or a family, no big deal. But all within 10 minutes, quite the site.

I live near Yellowstone so there is lot of wildlife around.

I actually adore autumn and rain. And it's rather amusing knowing there are tens of thousands of people at the Royal Easter show in the rain
But I just feel obligated to ask for Melb to take its rain back

Are you guys in the wet season now?

We don't have wet and dry seasons in Sydney.
Traditionally Easter is a wet time of year though.
Most rain falls in Summer rather than winter.....but we don't have wet and dry seasons.

Melbourne has 4 seasons in one day traditionally
