Can you transfer your music to an external hard drive and plug it in to the new PC? The start all over again with iTunes??




Do you have a back up of your hard drive?
I've now got such a library of my photographs that I'm paranoid that I'll lose it all.....it's on my laptop; on our shared storage disk; on my own personal storage disk and when all else fails, the Disney ones are mostly on photobucket. Now...where else can I store them?

No, the external is only a storage thing. I had to have a way to pull the music off the iPod to begin with. Plus, if I wanted to just store it on the external, I'd have to carry that around with me if I ever wanted to listen to music that wasn't on Pandora or YouTube. My music is fine now, it just took ages to do.

I don't have much on here that needs to be backed up besides my music library, which I plan to do tomorrow. All of my pictures were already backed up when the HDD failed, thankfully. I want to transfer copies of those back over so I can have my Disney-fied screensaver again

And for anyone interested, I have a picture in the final voting stage for the Epcot World Showcase. I'm pleased to have made it into the final vote; but really....my picture for this week isn't good enough to win.


The other place to try is mousescrappers. They also have a photoboard and they run a Disney weekly submission. It isn't a contest...just a show and tell.

The China and Japan ones are nice but they are very 'typical'. It's nice seeing a bit different.
