lol....that's the link I meant to post. It had also linked me to the link I posted

I like A G and J
The China and Japan ones are nice but they are very 'typical'. It's nice seeing a bit different.

Hope you're feeling a bit better...
I'm off to bed

LAST!

Well....thanks. Mine is one of these three...;) Maybe you should vote. I'm not even sure if my entry has picked up a single vote.....I haven't voted yet. :rolleyes1

Which reminds me, I need to decide if I want to submit an entry for Architecture. I definitely have one to submit for DTD and merchandise; so I better start thinking about getting those pictures loaded into the correct format for submission.

We've been running contests on Dtunes for a while...(not for INSANE photographers though ;) )
just looking for some new ideas...
Found the page with the list for the coming year useful...

If I've run too specific or 'odd' we don't get many...but we just did a batch of the parks so I'm looking at a bit more different this month

Just wondered what you liked or found interesting
::yes::

The Disney related contests are all very nice and all that...but really, I enjoy the non-Disney ones more. I've participated in two scavenger hunts - winter and summer - on the photoboard. I think I like that the topics are open for intepretation and you have 3 months to get the shot. It also doesn't eliminate anyone who just wants to have fun rather than making it all 'serious' about competition and having the 'best' picture. The scavenger hunts are designed to get you out taking pictures and a means to help improve your photography skills. Usually a lot of good amateurs and beginners sign up to the scavenger hunts...and Pea n Me always tries to get a couple of professionals to shoot; so that we can learn from them.

I like looking at the pictures on the Photo of the Day threads as well, but again...it sometimes feels like you need to have a real 'money' shot to post on those threads.

This time last year I was enjoying my first ever DisMeet at the Tequila Cave, Mexico, Epcot.

Happy Mexican Independence day. Although that's not what Cinqo De Mayo is for. I used to ask Mexican immagrants what the day is for an 0% new. It commemorates a battle won in Mexico. Mexico vs. France. Eventually though France took over Mexico. Later the US freed Mexico from France. No holiday for that.

Mexican Indepence Day is in September, the 17th I think. Cinco de Mayo is like a "Hallmark" holiday only it is backed by Corona & Jose Cuervo! :lmao:

Can you even buy hallmark cards with cinco de mayo on them?

Never looked. All it meant to me was when I was in elementery school we had a picnic of tacos. It was the only hot lunch the school served all year.

I just bought a mother's day card and there were no cinco de mayo cards. :sad2:
