See it has got to do with the spelling. It's the Y on the end that is causing so much trouble.

Thanks and you enjoy your day off. Sit down and relax a little.

I only have two weeks until my BIG walk and I have not gotten one thing off the list of stuff I will need. :earseek:

I really need to start trying to find stuff. So I will be busy after school today. Plus I need a couple of b-day gifts for kids.

What kind of stuff do you need??

What kind of stuff do you need??

The Right question is what DON'T I need.

Here is the offical list.
What to Bring
Please note that the 3-Day is not responsible for personal items brought to the 3-Day. You are discouraged from bringing items of value including jewelry, expensive cameras, personal electronics (ie. ipods and cellphones) on the event.

Clothing
Bring clothing appropriate for all types of weather - including cold, rain, and heat.
Two pairs of shoes
T-shirts and shorts
Waterproof jacket
Underwear and sports bra
Two pairs of socks per day
Sweat pants, long pants
Warm fleece or sweater
Sleepwear
Sweatband and hat
Shower shoes

Camping Gear
We will provide you with an 8'x8' tent for you to share with a tentmate.
Sleeping bag, air mattress or pad, and pillow
Plastic sheets or tarp (to keep your tent & gear dry in case of rain)
Clothespins (to secure plastic)
Flashlight and batteries
Towel and washcloth
Mylar blankets
Waist pack with water bottle

First Aid
While we'll have the supplies and crew to tend to any major medical issues on the event, you should bring your own supplies for tending to minor medical and personal problems along the route.
Any required prescription medications
Anti-blister aids
Vaseline and foot powder
Antacid, pain reliever and anti-inflammatory (e.g., Motrin)
Bandages, gauze and tape
Insect repellent
Disposable plastic bags

Toiletries
Toothpaste and toothbrush
Moisturizer
Nail clippers
Shampoo, conditioner, and soap
Razor and small mirror
Deodorant
Feminine products

Miscellaneous
Earplugs
Battery operated alarm clock and watch
Camera and film
Tent flag or marker
Journal and pens
Address book (to send postcards)

In Your Waist Pack
Plan to carry these items with you on the route each day in a waist pack.
Water bottle
Identification
Money and credit cards
Socks (to change into a fresh pair at the lunch stop)
Sunscreen and lip balm
Sunglasses
Bandanas (to dunk in cold water and then place on your head or neck to help keep you cool)
Rain poncho
Special snacks for medical or dietary needs
Small First Aid kit (made up of items listed in the First Aid section, for personal use on the route)
Baby-wipes for hand washing along the route

Crew Gear for Crew Members
Work gloves
Back support
Pocket knife or Leatherman (be sure to put in checked baggage if you are flying to the event)

What Not to Bring
Electrical appliances (including hair dryers, cell phone chargers, etc.) because there are no electrical outlets available in camp.
Headphones or portable music players. For safety reasons, you may not wear headphones while walking.
Valuables or breakable items.

How to Pack
You are allowed to bring one gear bag weighing up to 35 lbs. Everything, including your sleeping bag, must be packed inside or securely fastened to your gear bag. (We provide sleeping tents - one 8'x8' tentmate for two participants to share.) Add a ribbon or identifying marker to your bag to help you pick it out from the crowd. We will be transporting your gear for you while you are walking – you’ll just have to pick it up from your gear truck when you arrive at camp.

One tip we’ve picked up over the years is to pack everything inside plastic Ziploc bags – it will help keep things dry in the event of rain or heavy dew. Label your belongings with your name and Supporter ID.

In general, backpacks or duffel bags tend to work better than traditional suitcases for this type of event. If you’re bringing a bag with wheels, make sure they are sturdy and can handle rolling over grass or gravel. Please do not use bungee cords to hold your baggage together – they can snap apart and are very dangerous for our crew members handling your luggage. We don’t recommend packing your belongings or sleeping bag in garbage bags, in case it is mistaken for trash by our clean-up crew!

Copy and paste for me.

Yep and the bag can not weight more than 35 pounds and everything must fit inside of it.
I love the ziplock idea. Grab a bag and go.
Plus we will walk RAIN or Shine.
