I can remember my dad and I telling my aunt that when I was about 10 years old. We convinced her to ride a bike. She forgot how! She fell and was all cut and bruised up. She never let us forget that.

So, I guess that is one thing that the "you never forget" rule does not apply to.

She had said that she used to ride a bike all the time...but she hadn't for many years. I can still see her sprawled out on the road. I know I shouldn't laugh...but....

I ordered two books from Amazon.com tonight...

The Unofficial Guide to Cruises

...and I talked to my boss today about needing an extra six days off this summer.

I was afraid I was going to be pushing my luck since I'm just coming back from two months of sick leave, have three days extra scheduled off this month ~and~ have six days off scheduled in July. (And I have no real vacation time. )

But she was okay with it. She only asked that I not take the first week of August. Oh, well, that's what we had talked about last night but I'm flexible. Especially if she doesn't mind my taking off the time.
