:woohoo: :woohoo: YEAH!!

(so, will it be ready when we pass by next Sat??? :teeth: )

Thanks for all the congratulations for the House!! Liz the House is empty and if you have sleeping bags-you can camp on out-since we now have 2 homes until the 30th of June:thumbsup2

The cable and computer and appliances will be all hooked up by next weekend and we will be starting to move all our little things over there by this Tues-so if you need a place-it's all yours Liz!!!!;)

Monday Terminex is coming to get rid of any unwanted guests:scared: Then we're starting the move!!!!:woohoo:

Oh and the new roof is going on today-what a way to make a nice impression on the neighbors-Having a roofing crew out there all day until 9:30 tonight:eek:

and the bad news for the roof is-when they pulled off all the shingles and assessed the damaged to the plywood-they found 14 pieces that were rotten :faint: that's a lot of $$$ out of our pocket since they charge extra for each piece they have to replace

at least the roof is going to be 100% better shape and we wont have to worry about it for the next 30year unless a tree falls on it:thumbsup2

Sounds like a lot of work. At least the neighbors should respect the idea that you want to fix the place up!!

I just received this in an email and thought it was cute:

Subject: Technomerchandising / Supermarket Surround sound/scent

The new supermarket near my house has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.

When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and witness the scent of fresh hay.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The veggie department features the smell of fresh buttered corn.

I don't buy toilet paper there any more.

I dread going back to work tomorrow. My foot is feeling so much better today and I just know it'll start hurting after a day of work. Too bad I can't retire. ;)

You can sell the house that way-as long as the appraisel is high enough for the Morgage company

We knew the roof was 22yrs old and that it was showing water damage in 3 areas, plus it had small holes in it-so it wasn't a Huge surprise that some of the plywood had to be replaced-but 14 pieces to be replaced!!! that was a big ouch to the pocket book!!!

OK-I'm home early from work so I'm going to try and catch a few ZZZzzz's before the puppy gets up-I told Catie she could sleep in until 9am this morning-She's been such a BIG help this weekend with the puppy!!!

So I hope everyone has a great day :wave2:
