Getting in my last addiction...

I am trying to get some work done.

What a night! We've had wind gusts of 50-70 mph but we've had sustained winds of 40-50 mph all night and into this morning!!!

The boys are out of school, not so much because of the snow (we got 4"-5") but because of the wind and the damage caused last night because of the wind. Trees are power lines are down all over and many people are without electricity. We had a very old crab apple tree across the street and at about 1:00 a.m. it split. Half is still standing but will have to come down and the other half came down across the street, completely blocking the road. Another 5-10 feet and it would have hit DH's truck. DH had to call DOT to come out and get it out of the road.

We also had a netting across the top of our chicken pen to keep possums out and that has blown off. I hate the thought of having to go get that back up - it was such a pain the first time.

My boss has the same silly ideas. Only difference is that I can't get around his silly ideas and dis from work 'cause we don't have internet access at work!
