I am so sorry you are going thru this Kathy. Just remember you are a great mom, you love your children and they'll make their own choices, good or bad. God gave us the freedom to make our own decisions. As hard as it is, please try not to let the stress get to you...you need to take care of you so that you can get healthy and can take care of yourself and the boys/men.

DD just called to let me know she got back to Charlotte safely. I asked her if she thought that they would be waiting until May 19th to get married now that they had their marriage license in hand and she said she doubted it.

I expect to just get a call and hear her say, "guess what, we got married."

I'm still working on the bedding for our room. The bedskirt and the swag valances are battenburg lace. I washed them before hanging them/putting them on the bed. I am going to be ironing all night. I never thought about how wrinkely they would be!

DD just called to let me know she got back to Charlotte safely. I asked her if she thought that they would be waiting until May 19th to get married now that they had their marriage license in hand and she said she doubted it.

I expect to just get a call and hear her say, "guess what, we got married."

I think I can survive this week...I am taking off on Friday for the field trip....DH is taking off too and going with DS on his field trip. Then, we are going to spend the afternoon getting setting up for the garage sale. DH agreed to clean out his clothes I am going to thin out my clothes more...there are just some things that will never fit again and I hope never come back in style

I am so sorry. But, maybe it is better that they elope than having an expensive, uncomfortable wedding. This way, it was all her choice. I really feel for your boys and DH too...she could at least face the boys and tell them her new plans...and her boyfriend should face your DH well, don't give up hope. Maybe something will happen between now and the wedding and she will wake up

I don't mind that they're eloping but it would nice for her to ask for me to be there. Does that make sense? They're probably just going to end up going to a magistrate's office. She could ask us to be there for it. Does that make sense that I would want that. And even if I couldn't be there, it wouldn't hurt so much if she would at least ask. Who knows, maybe I'm jumping the gun, maybe she will ask.

She has hurt her brothers so many times over and over that they've built up a wall. Even A.J. She and A.J used to be so close but....

There's a limit to how many times you let someone hurt you before you quit trusting them.

When she called to tell me she made it back safely I came right out and asked her if it was her fiance's idea to go back without coming to the house and she said yes. But she said that she agreed because of the time involved. Yeah, right.
