Whats the weather like there ?

In a word - YUCK!

The past few days we've had beautiful, sunny spring days with highs in the 60's and lows in the 50's. In the middle of the night it started raining and it is supposed to rain most of the day. The temperature right now is around 50 but it's supposed to drop all day AND we've got snow flurries in the forecast for tonight!!!!! It's supposed to be in the 40's during the day and the 20's at night through Easter Sunday!

How about you. What's the weather like there?

Snow......yikes!!!

Sounds like we're all wondering where spring went!

Spring is on hiatus around here until sometime next week

a few years ago we got 14 inches of snow on April 19th
and we have had snow flurries as late as mid May

but the last few days were so nice I think it got us all hoping

almost 75% of the snow we had is melted

the only good thing is snow now doesn't last long

It's gloomy out right now. I heard it's supose to snow, but I haven't checked...

Okay...just checked...we are getting rain today, and tomorrow a light flurrie of snow. So other than that it's just a big drop in temp which is good I guess. I did not to see anymore snow this year.

Thank you my friends....dinner was absolutely delicious! It was beef teriyaki and the beef was so tender. This is the second Ala Zing meal that had beef strips in it and the beef melted in your mouth. Everyone had a full helping, Andrew had seconds and there was about a serving leftover! Mmmmm! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Guess what!

The doctor's office (in VA) called right before we had dinner. The secretary had just done my disability papers and faxed them to my employer but she said she had made a mistake. She wanted me to know that she was going to type a letter and fax the letter along with the corrected form and then mail both to the company.

She said that the mistake that she had made was that she put my "able to return to work date" as 4/15. (I thought it was supposed to be 4/10.) She said that she had gone back and checked with the doctor and it's supposed to be 4/30!!!

I don't even care about the disability pay for the extra 2 weeks, I just want a little extra time at home and some extra time to really be back on my feet. And we've been budgeting everything with the thoughts that the disability pay may not come through for any part of my time off so it's not about the disability pay at all.

I have been dreading next week because I was to go back to work and I just don't feel like I can be on my feet for 8-9 hours like I am at work, especially on the busy days where it's constant!

The extra time off will hurt our budget, that's for sure, but it'll be worth it and we'll make it up.

Worry no more! Everything we've had so far (burgers, beef stroganoff, beef teriyaki with white rice - yes even the rice was from Ala Zing) has been fantastic! I wouldn't hesitate to order from them and will definitely check them out when I need to send a gift!!

Spring has left us too! It seems we all have about the same forcast.
