A.J. is going to a volleyball clinic at the college today so I have to pick him up in town at 5:45. This will be my first time driving to town since I came home from the hospital.

I drove yesterday, just around here though, not to town and I did fine. The doctor told me that I could resume doing stuff as I felt ready.

Boy, did you open a can of worms there. As of now, if there is a wedding (which I'm sure there will be) it will be in Charlotte and it will be very small. As you know, Allen and I had reservations about the whole thing from the very beginning. Some things came up the weekend before last and we told DD that under the circumstances we just didn't feel like we could throw the wedding she was wanting.

She says she understands on one hand - but on the other hand she says that we're not being fair.

As far as decorations - she's on her own. DH and I aren't involved in the planning at all. We're just hoping she'll invite us.

Yep, I'm just kind of taking baby steps. Yesterday I took two bags of trash to the dump (remember - we're country bumpkins - no trash pick-up here), and I went to the FD and stopped to meet a freind at the park. And it kind of wore me out. So today I'm taking it easy in anticipation of my drive to town.
