My goodness it's been slow around here the past couple of days. It took me about a minute and a half to read back and catch up!

Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.

I feel like a walking zombie. Since making that 12 hour drive last Sunday night coming back from vacation I feel like I just haven't been able to catch up. I have worked every day, three of them being ten hour days. I just can't wait for tomorrow. Sleep, clean, sleep, laundry, sleep!

Good news for our high school football team.....they won last night and that puts them into the Western NC finals next Friday!

When we got to the game last night it was 27 and when we left it was 21! I didn't think I would ever feel my toes again! A.J. was all bundled up on the field and kept coming over to me to have me get his (and his teacher's aide) some hot chocolate. That kept them a little warm. The water in all the coolers froze solid...and at halftime people from our team took care of getting water for the other team because all of their water, which they expected to use through the whole game, was also frozen solild. They were from "off the mountain" and really weren't expecting our frigid temps.

So it looks like we'll be at a football game next Friday night too!!!

All I kept thinking about while I was freezing at the game last night it....hmmmm, now where was I at this time last week....oh yeah, walking around the deck of a cruise ship!

Okay I guess

Jess is still in PT and her legs are still Bad but her arms are showing improvement

Erica goes tomorrow to retest her liver and try to figure out what is going on there

Kayla - I hope you get the girls back on the road to recovery. They are too young to be suffering like this.

I went shopping at 4:30 on Friday and got home at 9:00 p.m. that night. I was beat.

Found some really good buys but still have a few things to pick up.

...well, anyway, if anyone does check in here....please keep DH in your thoughts. They just called him out with the Tact team. It's some sort of situation with an armed man - not sure about hostages - and the man with the gun is someone we know. Not a good situation. So please think good thoughts for us. I am a nervous wreck!!!
